Someone who cares more than me should do a breakdown of how many acts were chosen from each year
2015: 12 (Kendrick Lamar, My Morning Jacket, D’Angelo and the Vanguard, The War on Drugs, Atomic Bomb!, Flying Lotus, Earth Wind and Fire, Caribou, Run the Jewels, Sturgill Simpson, Sylvan Esso, Jamie xx) 2014: 9 (Kanye West, Arctic Monkeys, Frank Ocean, The Flaming Lips, Neutral Milk Hotel, Janelle Monaé, Cage the Elephant, Mastodon, Chance the Rapper) 2013: 6 (Wu-Tang Clan, David Byrne and St. Vincent, Rock n’ Soul Dance Party Superjam, Beach House, Local Natives, Dirty Projectors) 2012: 5 (Radiohead, Childish Gambino, Umphrey’s McGee, St. Vincent, Danny Brown) 2018: 5 (Anderson .Paak and the Free Nationals, Nile Rodgers and Chic, BROCKHAMPTON, Broken Social Scene, Jungle) 2016: 4 (LCD Soundsystem, Tame Impala (Late Night), Father John Misty, Kurt Vile) 2009: 3 (David Byrne, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Grizzly Bear) 2010: 3 (The National, Daryl Hall and Chromeo, The xx) 2011: 2 (Primus, Robyn) 2017:1 (Portugal. the Man)
Bolster my previous claims that 2015 is hella underrated on here
I knew my list was going to be very different than most of Inforoo because I skew older/rootsier, but the lack of love for that Dr. John and The Meters playthrough of Desitively Bonnaroo makes me sad. It's right behind Macca and Alice Cooper for my favorite Roo set ever.

We use this expression a lot, but I think for real, you could make an objective case that The Meters are the most underappreciated band in the history of popular music.
It definitely skews heavy on those two years. Like I wouldn't have expected Sylvan Esso and Cage the Elephant to make the cut, but voting out of familiarity explains it. I assume there might have been a stronger candidate.

I finished a version of this for past Coachellas since 2007. Should I just post it here or make a new thread somewhere else? I still haven't cracked a thousand posts so I'm not sure how things work around here

I agree. 2015 was a great year, even if Billy Joel was weak.
