Surprised somebody else around here even knows about this. I might grab a day ticket if they sell them. Didnt go last year, but I usually never miss a Bangon/Elements event in the city. Those guys throw awesome parties.
This is at the same venue that the last year of Catskill Chill was correct? That place was pretty cool. Have a few buddies going but Memorial Day weekend never works for me.
Correct, same venue as Catskill chill. Nice layout with a beach stage on the lake, lots of summercampish activities and a stage in the woods with music going well past sunrise

I don't know a ton of names, but it seems the lineup isn't filled with shit EDM. For those in the know is this a decent lineup? Any really quality bookings? Doesn't seem too bad at a current price point of $180.
Yea I'm pretty surprised to see Jamie Jones and Maceo Plex on there, they're usually at the opening parties in Ibiza at this time of year. Other interesting names are Thugfucker, Desert Hearts crew, Patrice Baumel, Lee Burridge, etc.

I'd check out Maceo Plex, Mount Kimbie (not sure what their DJ sets would be like), Jamie Jones, Claude Vonstroke, Patrice Baumel, Thugfucker but I don't know if I'd pay $180 for that.

You pretty much counted the best acts, but I'm also partial to Rezz, DJ Three and Oona Dahl.
I feel like BangOn! is the one promo company (or whatever they technically are) that fully understand their customer base and hammers their tastes every single event. I've never heard of most acts at the majority of their events but I've had a blast at every one
Minnesota is a really great bass producer if you're not locked in to house-y stuff. In that same vein, Charlesthefirst makes some really forward thinking stuff.
We got our tickets purchased already as last year was a total success. We're doing GA camping again, you might want to try the facebook event or reddit for better odds of people going in on a cabin.
Updates since the last post....
Dirtybird takeover of the Fire stage Friday night. Tickets and Cabin prices go up to the next tier on March 2nd!
Down to meet up and have a beer with some infoorooers out there too

Got the time off from work. Officially planning for this as of now! Just have to figure out accommodations.. Question; do you have to park your vehicle off site? Should I look into bringing a handtruck?
For parking, yes, they park you in a lot off the venue grounds but it's not nearly as bad as other non car camping festivals I've been to. Basically you park in a field and then they have regular shuttle buses taking you and your stuff to the venue entrance. At the venue entrance they process your tickets and the camping area is right there. I would definitely recommend a wagon/handcart/etc even though it's not a far distance it's still kind of a pain in the ass to make multiple trips back and forth.
Let me know if you have anymore questions, Year 2 is going to bring a ton of structural improvements and activities so I'm really stoked about it. It's the only east coast electronic music festival I can think of with stages going 24 hours a day. Seeing Thugfucker b2b Doc Martin last year from 6am - 2pm was sublime. It's also kind of weird setting your alarm for 4am to go catch sets haha

I slept on locking everything down because of indecisive friends. Plus the Saturday lineup kinda sucks. Thinking I might just go on Sunday for Mount Kimbie, Rezz, and Maceo Plex and leave it at that.
Another massive success from the BangOn crew! Met so many cool people and heard a ton of good music. What was everyone else's experience? I was glad to see that it didn't grow too much, guessing 5-6k attendees

Doubt anyone here is going to the Bronx edition this Saturday. But I have a few friends working it and the rig they are putting together for Bassnectar is pretty nuts. 360 sound.
