A guy told me one time, "Don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you feel the heat around the corner or if you have a fantasy draft."
I'm going to contest this one. Adele posted a letter on her Instagram about six months ago saying she doesn't know if she'll ever tour again, citing stage fright and a desire to spend more time with her son. If we ever see her on the road again, it won't be for a long time.
But what if it is a one time only thing? Just like when she headlined Glastonbury. It's not like she headlines every festival out there. Though I get your point.
Adele is currently in talks with Wynn casino in Las Vegas for a $500,000 a show residency. I think that’s pretty solid proof she’s not out of the running.
Eh, I feel like "i don't know if I'll tour again" and "i'm done doing live performances" are two very different things, and it shouldn't disqualify her.

I was thinking about this, but I'm just throwing it out here. It seems to become a trend to play a certain album as a whole at a festival or just tour, but I feel like it's still exceptional that an artist or band does that therefor I think there should've been a show/festival performance to back that up. For example, Interpol played Turn On The Bright Lights at a few festivals last year and did a few shows with it aswell but I've seen some "x performs y album" from last year which seemed a little bit crazy to me? Perfect example is The Gaslight Anthem who'll play The 59 Sound as a whole next year at a few festivals and shows next year. I believe we should handle the same rule as with the "when is a certain band still active or not"-rule aka that when u wanna take a band that plays a certain album from start to finish, that they've played that album within the span of the past 3 years. Thoughts?

5) No more than two "novelty" sets, such as playing a full album in its entirety. Also, if an artist is playing an album in its entirety there needs to be a reason for why it would be happening during the time period of the festival such as a 5, 10, 15, etc. year anniversary.
