I have to say (and this is not directed at you cdev) I think it’s a little disappointing to see all these proposed rule changes. Seems like people are voting based on what benefits them rather than with the integrity of the game in mind. I think limiting spin off acts to two just screams of people being salty they didn’t think of a good drafting strategy.
You mean being underhanded and against the spirit of the draft?

If you’re trying to say that choosing acts to get the rights to their members is against the spirit of the draft, then I disagree. Hell, the rules practically encourage it.
I also think that trading away the “rights” to certain acts adds new and interesting component to the draft. Why limit it to 2?
Those are two different proposals.
Prop 2 is to allow the rights to individual members of an act to be traded.
Prop 3 is to limit the number of acts that can be spun off from a pick to two. (To use an example that has already been expressed, the Planetarium pick could be spun off into Sufjan solo and the National but the rule would not allow any other acts if applicable)
Prop 4 is to limit the number of acts that can be spun off from any picks to two in an entire lineup. (Using the same example, if Sufjan and the National was picked, no other acts in that lineup can be spun off.)

Yeah that’s my point. Both prop 3 and 4 limit what I find to be an enjoyable new element to draft.

The thrift stores are always best in the rich part of town.
should have taken a Queens/ATDI side project. FOR MAXIMUM PICKS!!!
I actually spent a significant amount of time today making sure nobody from Queens' current lineup plays in one of the acts already picked. That rule is so anxiety inducing.

Random future thought: If the anything goes draft ever happens, it should be in the rules to be able to specify the point of their career in which some acts are, i.e. 1967 Bob Dylan not 2018 Bob Dylan.

She automatically gets TMV if they announce something right? Also her lineup looks like I did it.

MV is off limits, hush you. I would have taken them before ATDI went 100%.

And yes, I feel her strategy overall so far has been to go hard for the Sang vote. You two should talk more.
