No one here is arguing The Who or Metallica are better than Roger Waters/Pink Floyd, especially not me. I'm just saying there is a strong argument that Metallica plays to bigger audiences and might have higher billing power.

It's like the U2/Radiohead thing Kim has going. I like Radiohead a good bit more, even though I also like U2 a lot. U2 is clearly a bigger band than Radiohead, though. It's not close.
