So excited to pick this one, I'll take one my favorite electronic live acts at the moment, ODESZA!
Pearl Jam * Foo Fighters * The Strokes Childish Gambino * Kraftwerk 3-D * Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds ODESZA * Alabama Shakes * Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds Eric Prydz presents EPIC 5.0
Damn, for some reason, it didn't even occur to me that they were eligible because they did shows together last year.
Incidentally, this was on Amanda Palmer's Instagram a while back, and it tickled me:
that complex emotion that accompanies the moment when your flight attendant leans over to you with a twinkle in his eye and asks you to confirm your identity as amanda palmer, then turns to neil gaiman in the next seat, shakes his hand, and says to him: “words cannot express what your work means to me. i listened to the dresden dolls non-stop in college and you guys completely changed my life.” i did not bother to break the spell. and i assured neil that in one of his (many) alternate universal-human-manifestations, he is, indeed, a fantastic drummer.
He's playing the Houston Rodeo and I bet he comes pretty close to packing NRG Stadium out.
"The biker beard. The cowboy hat with feathers and a turquoise jewel, like Johnny Paycheck might have worn. The slow-cooked Southern sound, bubbling up from Memphis, Muscle Shoals and the first two Lynyrd Skynyrd albums. This is Chris Stapleton, first-time RodeoHouston entertainer, who absolutely hypnotized an announced crowd of 72,803 Houstonians Thursday night."
He also played last year. Pretty sure he sold it out again.
Yeah I double checked Stapleton a few times because I thought he'd be gone. Definitely think he's a headliner at this point. Especially at a Tennessee festival.

Full disclosure: when you sent me the pick, I double checked the list because I assumed you missed him getting picked.
