i think what he means by that is that bonnaroo would never book Aphex Twin-Chem Bros-Justice as their top 3, not because they're not headliners, but because that's not the point of bonnaroo.

This guys got it. Some of the fests for the last draft were very niche.

Those fests also generally did well (except the hoe-down one). This pretty much became create-a-festival last time. Some weren't even meant to take place on the Farm.
My advice is: make fun of and condescend to Bonnaroo as much as possible. If someone accuses you of doing something unrealistic, point out that you're doing that because, realistically, Bonnaroo lineups are garbage. There are already some good examples on this page, for reference.

yeah i have a current game plan in my head for this that would make my lineup look somewhat Bonnaroo-y...but if my number 1 gets taken im probably gonna do something a little smaller and more niche.

Well, people are going to vote for what they're going to vote for.
You're supposed to be drafting a Bonnaroo lineup. What that means to you is open to interpretation.

It's just tiresome for me at this point. People don't even have to say something that makes sense.
