Oh, yeah, there are still headliners left. I made the comment not because he's collecting headliners but because the scenario he lined up with the Killers preheadlining for the Foo Fighters is not a realistic scenario for Bonnaroo. People can run their festival however they want, I just don't think that's realistic (as far as any of this is).
I don't see the problem with my draft, there are others with way different and even more stacked headliner sets than mine? Some come from trading and others from just drafting them. For the record, Eminem (who was drafted as 54th last year) still isn't drafted and is Roo's #1. Coulda just picked him to do an afternoon set or something haha. The Killers are imo not headliner worthy for a major festival and see them either as a coheadliner (like The Strokes + Bruno Mars) or as a strong sub rather than a headliner.
I wouldn't book them higher than 4th at my fest. And your headliner set is fine with me. I'd say they are just concerned over the doors that could be opened with this tactic.

This year the Killers are headlining the following festivals around the world:
Lollapalooza Argentina Lollapalooza Chili Lollapalooza Brazil Boston Calling Bonnaroo Firefly Isle of Wight Rock in Rio Rock Werchter TRNSMT Latitude Benicassim Deichbrand Lollapalooza Paris Panorama
You may not see them as "worthy" headliners but it's inarguable that they are legit headliners. Citing other larger acts that you could book and also schedule unrealistically does not strengthen your argument.
I'm not saying that you can't do this. It's your festival and you can schedule it however you like. I was just voicing that it was unrealistic. (And, yes, there are other unrealistic lineups in this draft.)
You can of course run your festival any way you'd like but the Killers are a headliner in their own right, not a preheadliner. I mean, they are literally headlining Bonnaroo this year.
Then I'm curious how Vinnie the Eel is gonna program his festival with U2, Radiohead, Arcade Fire, The Weeknd and Florence + The Machine. He also got 5 headliners, right? Heck Fred got Coldplay, playing as a #4 lol
Actually before drafting Madonna, I was set on my 3 headliners. Then I looked at my top line, something felt missing to me, and decided to add her. Coldplay might not be #4, I'm still talking to their management about it.
I believe a Bonnaroo-sized festival can handle 4 headliners.

Out of 20, there are (I believe) 12 with more than 3 headliners and 8 with more than 4. Why is this a thing in Round 12 when after Round 5, Kim already had his 5 headliners locked lol.

I don't think it's a thing, we're just discussing lol.
Just make sure you don't charge us a lot with those headliners.

It's not a thing. You made an announcement of your fifth and final headliner and how they were scheduled and I commented on it.
If I had noticed someone else announcing their headliner schedule and I had issues with it I'd call BS on them too.

Huh tell that to all their hit singles and bookings that seem to disagree. Also I’d have to disagree with Bruno being a co headliner at this point in time and this fantasy is for next year right?

As of right now NMH are "broken up" but if they ever do another tour I will not miss it. Their show at the Mann Center a few years back was incredible.
I think theyll eventually release new music though. And utilizing the 20th anniversary of ITAOTS would be a good rollout strategy.

answer honestly, how should i bill my top 5 of Fleetwood, Chem Bros, Lionel, Phoenix, and YYY's? Obvi Fleetwood #1, and i think i want Chem bro's at 2, but im not sure how to handle it beyond that.

Something like this?
Yeah Yeah Yeahs > Lionel Richie Phoenix > Chemical Brothers Animal Collective > Fleetwood Mac
Fleetwood Mac - Chemical Brothers - Lionel Richie Phoenix - Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Animal Collective

It's tricky IMO.
You can do Phoenix/Chem Bros/YYYs/Lionel Richie.
Or alternatively list them alphabetically after Fleetwood Mac.
Insomnia's a bitch, which means you don't have to wait as long as I said you would. This band has crushed it both times I've seen them... I choose The Naked and Famous!
I think that Phoenix, YYY and Chemical Brothers are all pretty close. Chemical Brothers are more rare so that's why I'd put them at two but that's just splitting hairs. I think Lionel Richie is your #4 in any configuration.
