I just don’t see evidence that there’s any reasonable expectation they will play together again within our timeframe. They billed their reunion show as “one night only”.

Katy Mae' objection to the pick was that it was a one off show. The 30th and 20th anniversary info came from the first paragraph of the Rolling Stone article where I found the date of the show.

the fact that spice girls passed makes this a no brainer. if thats allowed this should be too.
Then why the heck wasn’t Middle Brother allowed? I sound like sang right meow but the application of these rules confuses me.
because there was no rumor about them doing a full tour most likely.
there's shaky evidence that Spice Girls is happening again, there was shaky evidence as of last year that this would happen again. at least with EB & R there at least been a show.
fwi I think the Spice Girls thing was ridiculous, and was more than likely voted because people wanted it as opposed to it being within the limits of what we're trying to do.

I meant that Eric B isn't really essential. Rakim can do all of those songs without him. Rakim is the name that carried on.
This. Being dead serious when I say Eric B's presence means nothing to me. Rakim is widely regarded as one of if not the most influential MC/lyricists in Hip-Hop history. The same is not usually said of Eric fuggin B.
