anyone going to Roo from down bottom here?? I will be leaving Naples, and picking up a friend in Satellite Beach, and perhaps another in Orlando and one more in Atlanta before rolling into Roo.

chefchick - you in Naples?? I actually live and work in Bonita Springs, I will be hopping right on I-75 by my house and heading up....less than 5 months!!
Yeah. I'm in Naples. I don't know my travel plans for Roo yet. I plan on meeting up with other Inforoosters, but probably not until I get to TN. I could possibly be interested in a car pool. Still a few months to plan.
I am, however, always looking for people to go to shows with. As you may have noticed, most of them require quite a bit of traveling.

yeah keep in touch, I'm always up for good shows....I didn't realize they moved Langerado to Big Cypress down on exit 49.
I know for sure I am going, and picking up one more (alessiasurfsny) in Satellite Beach, my buddy from Orlando and one in Atlanta won't commit yet and I if I had to guess they probably won't be going so there would only be 2 of us.
Not that I'm a huge fan of any of the bands, but not much comes here. I've heard some OAR. They're okay. Maybe I'll give them a chance. It's only $10. I'm thinking about going.
its an annual deal they do down here by the Everglades, basically just an excuse to get drunk and listen to some music (even though its usually country)

OAR is not too bad, they are a little emo for me but I hear its a good show
Yeah, it's the FGCU thing at Germain Arena, Saturday 2/2. Like I said, for $10 I'm down for checking them out. One of the few non-country shows around.
What about Sister Hazel? Any opinion on them? I remember they had a few hits several years ago, but I haven't heard anything recently. They appear to be the headliner.
And Becca, if you come down a few days earlier for Langerado, we can go to the Swamp Buggy Races in March.

I saw Sister Hazel when I was in middle school (I'm 26 now)...they had their one hit on the radio back then and the played a Regatta in my hometown....I dont remember if they were any good or not
I'll have to look into it. Seems odd that OAR is opening for them. But for $10, I'll probably end up going. It's the best show to come around in a while. Not much happens here.
Yonder Mountain String Band is playing in Ft Lauderdale the folowing weekend. I'm going to try to go to that one,
I love YMSB too. Sister Hazel/OAR is 20 minutes away. YMSB is an hour and 45. The drive home kinda sucks. I'll still probably go, but it depends on what's going on at work that weeend.

Tallahassee here..... I hit up the last two Roo's and will be going this year. Usually go with my sister but she'll be in Italy. Not sure how many of my festival friends will be going but I'm always up for meeting some other FLA's who are. I should have a seat or two in my car.

I haven't figured out all of the logistics yet, but I'll probably be leaving from Orlando. I still have to find out if my friends are willing to go or if I'll be flying solo :/
jacksonville here........been the last 5 years but waiting on the lineup to see if i'll be attending a 6th.........last year took alot out of me.........going to see yonder here in jax next month
