Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Ugh, feel like this would make MUCH more sense at Forest Hills. Not buying a ticket in advance but could be a fun last-minute show.
Same, will see if it lands on the list for the $20 specials that will inevitably pop up. Jones Beach is a pain, but doable. You really have to make sure that you do not have a big or even regular small handbag if going by public transit because they WILL enforce the bag size limits. Hasn't been that long since I've seen both of them, so if I don't make it out, I won't be bummed.

My other gripe about Jones Beach is that the whole venue is cashless (totally fine) but then all the idiot cab drivers who show up to potentially drive people to train station are cash only, as if we're still living in the 90's.
Just checked the AXS this morning and RTJ 4 for September 16th is not up but the other three shows are. Anybody know what’s the deal? Gonna be a stressful morning trying to get these and Pixie’s tix.
EDIT: It doesn’t show up on the app but if you go to the website it says coming soon.

Figured I'd give the Sylvan Esso Forest Hills presale a shot, just to see how it goes...and either AXS is having some sort of technical issue, or maybe we underestimated them, because I haven't been able to even get through 20 minutes in.

That's weird, I tried the Amex pre-sale just for shits and giggles and was easily able to pull up a GA ticket which I threw back. That show and Jungle are the same weekend so not sure I feel like schlepping out there twice thus will make a decision about which to go to closer to the date.

I'd be surprised if it sold out but support acts for the show are decently strong. Goth Babe has a sold out show at Pier 17 in May and Charlotte Adigéry and Bolis Pupul just had a sold out show at elsewhere on tuesday.

Well, I think it may have been a tech problem, or something else, and that we were right about demand level, because I strolled into the Public Onsale for Sylvan Esso at Forest Hills just now - 17 minutes after it started - and tickets are still available for literally every section of the stadium.

I'm interested in seeing Sylvan Esso and Charlotte Adigéry and Bolis Pupul again but not at that price point. $90 GA for this bill seems crazy to me. Especially since I don't really care about Beach Goth.

Lately, I have been getting just as excited when a big show is announced in which I have no interest as I get when something is announced I actually want to see.
No interest in the Jonas Brothers but I wonder why Citi Field often gets more shows than Yankee Stadium and yet, somehow, this is at Yankee Stadium. Is it just due to availability or is Citi just more amenable to concerts?

I think Citi is more amenable - I think Yankee Stadium has limits to the number of concerts it can host, it is closer to residential areas while Citi kinda stands alone.
