Tickets were way more expensive than anticipated. Still, I had to.
Yeah, I saw that. I didn't buy in the presale yet and have to decide between now and Friday if I want to do it because I anticipate a sellout. Probably going to bite the bullet and do it just so I don't miss out on this. I've skipped too many podcast and sketch show things that have come around that I end up regretting.

I'm not saying we're definitely getting a Taylor Swift appearance at The National's MSG show tonight, but she was apparently photographed in NYC yesterday, and the official poster for the show references "The Alcott."

I've been wondering about that as well. Seems like the perfect event for them to do it given it's their most prestigious hometown show to date (and probably ever).
"Also due to circumstances beyond our control the Forest Hills show has been cancelled, we’re working on a way to make it up to our NYC fans as we speak & will keep you posted."

Seems like that's the only way I'll see her live, so I'm OK with this, lol.

Anybody know who that band was playing on the street after the Pixies show last night. I walked past it fast cause I had to wake up super early for work. Felt like I recognized a song but couldn’t place it.
Anyone want a cheap ($30) ticket to Saturday of ElectroniCON (George Clanton, RXKNephew, Doss, 18 Carat Affair, Neggy Gemmy, James Ferraro and others)? Wrench got thrown into my plans and I can't make it to the city anymore
PSA for anyone attending any shows at Jones Beach for the rest of year (or, potentially, EVER). If you're in the orchestra GA pit or front section, there's a good chance during high tide water will come over the walls. Was at the Pumpkins/Interpol show last night and stood in 3-4 inches of water for the duration of Interpol's set so I recco wearing shoes you don't mind getting wet or boots in some cases.
