Totally forgot Nas, Wu-Tang and De La is tonight. Decent seats are still a little too expensive. Gonna keep an eye on it tho.
starting to fall a little bit. i just snapped up 3rd row balcony (back corner, but still) for $70 and there are a ton up for resale across the sites, it'll keep going

Saw Slowdive at Webster Hall last night and it was unbelievable, everything I hoped they would be... already looking forward to the next time they come back!
1/16: L'Impératrice 1/30: Jamie xx 2/1: DJ Seinfeld 2/7: Mild Minds* 3/1: Father John Misty* 3/4: knock2 3/7: Inhaler* 3/19: Confidence Man 3/23: DARKSIDE 5/8: Rüfüs Du Sol
You know, I've gone to multiple of those LCD shows and I wish everyone who goes a good time but...getting a bit stale for me so I'm opting out of these.

I think it’s a cute way to get people out to NYC the last three years. I’m sure my cousin will come out for it.
It’s funny though because though Knockdown Center is technically queens it’s not easy for anyone who lives in queens to get there. It’s super close to Brooklyn Steel.
If there's one thing NYC does not need in 2023, it's more LCD Soundsystem shows. This will bring the count to 34 shows since 2022.
Also hate how Knockdown Center is considered a "Queens" venue. It's basically in Brooklyn, and a pain in the ass to get to by public transportation.
It’s excessive but they sell well every time, and for new fans it must be a god send. Also, Knockdown’s like a ten min walk from the L and a 5 min uber from the M/J, but not sure what part of town youre coming from.
I’ll be going to a Knockdown date as I love that venue and they can go super late, so maybe a longer setlist. I missed their DFA party there last year so this will be a first time seeing them there. Also fuck Terminal 5.

That whole area off the Jefferson AV L is blowing up w/Elsewhere, Avant Gardner, Sultan room, BK Made and Knockdown Center a bit of a walk away. However, as you mention, it IS indeed such a pain to get to for most people.
Not gonna commit to any one LCD date right now but I'll probably go to the city again in November or December and will do one if it lines up. These haven't been selling out right away I can't imagine
How is knockdown center? Half considering making the trip, but never been there before
I only went once and it was for a DJ but I really liked it. Warehouse-type venue with lots of space and seems well ran.
It’s the ‘lots of space for me’, every BK steel LCD show i went to last year, as soon as I had to go to the bathroom halfway through, I had to watch the rest from the back. Maybe just had some bad luck with rude crowds but i text my friend 2 seperate nights ‘hey no ones letting me through, i’ll be in the back’
Real ballsy move Foo Fighters getting The Hives to open. I’m not even a big fan but they are wild animals live and will blow FF off the stage. Amyl into The Hives into FF is pretty solid tho. One thing that sucks for Amyl is they’ll go on first to an empty stadium and some disinterested idiots that don’t know what’s up

Certain dates'll sell quickly - the Saturday nights, opening and closing nights of the run, that sort of thing. Others, you're right, you'll probably be able to wait, especially T5, since a) it's a bigger-capacity venue than BK Steel, and b) I'm guessing folks might have it last on their list of preferred spots/dates.
