Kinda surprised I don't have any 2024 shows on the agenda yet - it's not unusual for me to have no shows in Jan/Feb but usually somebody I would want to see will have announced 2024 shows by now.

Getting ready to do the triple-header with My Morning Jacket at Beacon. Supposedly, they're playing 9:15-11:45 each night. I'm wondering how much I'm going to hate my life choices come Sunday morning.

Recovery from a few short nights of sleep: 2 days. Memories of three incredible, no-repeat nights of MMJ at the Beacon: Priceless. Forever.
I’m jealous, but doing both Philly shows in the pit will be a decent consolation prize.

How was it?
I’ll be there tonight. Pumped!
Sick. Epic. Great extended jams for Dancefloors, Run Thru, Steam Engine, and Phone Went West to close it out. Crowd was full of die-hards and was really vibing except for the usual NYC problem of a few people who can't shut the fuck up the whole time. I was sitting right behind the sound booth, and from where I was, it sounded really great. The band seems super-psyched to be there.
I'm dragging ass today but looking forward to rallying tonight.

I'm going tonight as well - what time did MMJ come on and is there an opener?
EDIT: Nevermind, they post the info on Twitter. Opener (was Madi Diaz last night) at 8, MMJ 9:15. Looking forward to it!

Yeah, MMJ went on a little later last night - somewhere closer to 9:30 - but I think banking on the 9:15 start time is a safe bet.

I imagine the Green Day tour is also doing Citi Field. Can't believe I'm potentially trekking out there three times next summer (also seeing Foo Fighters there).

Any idea how expensive/difficult blink 182 tix will be?? My sister was trying to get some for her husband the last tour but they were super expensive I think
I highly doubt Blink will be an instant sellout given they played 3 arena dates this year and, while there is excitement over the new album, a lot of people just going to hear the oldies may not be willing to pony up $200-300 per ticket again.
Also planning on the Foos. Not a fan of Green Day but if the upper deck is cheap enough I'll go just for Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid and Linda Lindas.
Can't gauge how the demand will be for this Blink show. We thinking instant sellout, or can I drag my feet a bit before buying tickets?
Take this with a grain of salt. But I’m a 34 year old from Long Island and the group chat with my friends was going nuts about this. People that usually aren’t concert people at all are definitely buying tix when they go on sale. So very anecdotally, seems like it’ll be pretty strong demand.
Will note that everyone missed the recent arena shows. So who knows.
Barry Can't Swim at MHOW 2/16. Tempted to go to this but I wish it was Saturday so I don't have to use a vacation/personal day so soon in the year to get there
Anyone got a Live Nation presale for Blink 182 for tomorrow?
There's a presale happening right now. Code ONEMORETIME.
Just snagged 4 nosebleed tickets for only $28 each after fees. Couldn't believe there was such a cheap option. Only the last 3 rows of the upper deck at that price. Rest of upper deck was between 68 and 88. 100 level was over $200 each and floor I think was $300.

Thanks!!! Just passed this along to my friends whose a diehard fan.

Brooklyn Paramount announced another show, The Descendents. Since it's a Live Nation venue, hopefully they do some sort of cool launch week/weeks with some big name NYC acts (The National would be a perfect band to open the venue).
Quick check puts me in LES unless I'd find something better.
Brooklyn I'm prepared for a hike back but the last show I'll be at will be at LPR.
Just curious if I could walk from venue to venue but it's looking like I'll have to Uber/Taxi which will be ok if need be.
Brooklyn Bowl, MHOW, and Baby’s are all walkable to each other.
City Winery and Racket are right next to each other, and both a 15-20 minute walk from LPR. LPR is a 15-20 min walk to Bowery Ballroom (meaning 30-40 min walk from City Winery/Racket).
I’ve never heard of the last four venues in either list.
