Never got mine either. Registered my partner 5 minutes after the presale started and they give you a code immediately so maybe try that if you have access to someone with a phone that hasn’t registered.
Unfortunately I registered the other number I have access to right before it started lol. Oh well.

It’s really annoying how a lot of those that registered early didn’t get codes but if you register at the time of sale you get a code immediately. I don’t think the regular onsale will be too bad and the secondary market last year was mostly below or at face value so there is still hope.
Sounds like sitting out this LCD residency may be a good move. Although, I just pulled up a ticket to the Brooklyn Steel AMEX show as a lookie loo pretty easy, just clicked that GA section. Also is a "Demand ticket" inflated with dynamic pricing? It's showing $129 plus fees.

Yes, a "Demand" ticket is AXS's version of Ticketmaster's "Last Chance" tickets. Essentially, they hold back some tickets for GA events that sell out and then immediately release them as more expensive "Demand" tickets. Not sure why they don't just call them "AXS Premium", or why Ticketmaster doesn't call them "Platinum". Maybe they think "Demand" and "Last Chance" create more of a sense of urgency for people to buy hence they created new terms? There is no set pricing on these, it's whatever the person or algorithm determines.
My Knockdown ticket was $100.82, fees included. Still feels a little steep.
If what Jimmy Murph said in his post about on-site afterparties at the Knockdown shows bears out, though, could end up being a lot of bang for the buck.

Expand on this?
EDIT: Just read his IG post, holy shit my body and my drugdealer are ready.
Thinking of coming down for a few shows later this year. Most of the time I take the train down from CT. Wondering if it's any easier/quicker coming from the NJ side instead. Cause, hotels in NYC are bullshit expensive.

I commuted from Jersey City for years - it’s doable but bring a book

Depends on where in CT. I spent my youth taking the train from Darien/Noroton Heights stops so really wasn't a big issue (it's almost like taking the train from Brooklyn to Manhattan in terms of time).

Probably Stamford or Norwalk
In the past though, I have taken it from Milford, New Haven, and Southeast (Brewster NY). Those are def longer rides.

I should note that when I was young (ha) and did this, the furthest I was usually going was Bowery Ballroom, Knitting Factory, Irving Plaza. Nowadays if you're going into Billyburg, definitely more time consuming taking the train from Stamford. Also, due to the decaying infrastructure of Metro North, the actual train ride is a bit longer (like 5-10 min more) than it was 20 years ago.

Jason Isbell w/Aimee Mann, 2/24 at Radio City Music Hall. Really tempted by this one.
I need to save money. Also, this was just announced as well as Orebolo (3-nights) at the Capitol Theater in POrt Chester as well as Portugal. The Man at the Capitol around the same time.
