Oh god, Kanye just announced a listening party at UBS Arena on Friday. Hilarious that he's having a listening party at the hands down worst sounding arena I've ever been to. Also hilarious that venues/promoters are still willing to work with him. And that people will still buy tickets.

Apparently many venues/promoters are not willing to work with him, allegedly he's been having trouble booking venues for a tour.

OH SNAP PEARL JAM 9/3 AND 9/4 AT MSG.
The next show isn't until 9/7 in Philly, too, and there's nothing on the books at the Garden, so they could conceivably add another date (which they should, because come on).
Those Pearl Jam shows will be impossible. As I've posted on their Reddit, I don't understand why they insist on playing MSG when they can easily fill an MLB/NFL stadium here.

I registered for the 10 Club lottery for both NYC and Philly. I'm sure you're right, but I did luck out once in 2013, so maybe I'm due, again? I don't know.
I'd be fine with them sticking with MSG if they'd play a multiple-date residency. I mean, we got two nights this time, which is better than the one they had planned for the Gigaton tour, but there's absolutely zero reason they couldn't sell out a four-night run at the Garden or Barclays (or a Garden/Barclays combo).

Yeah I registered for both nights and I imagine a third will be easily added. Wild how much their demand has increased as the years went by. I remember rolling up to the now defunct Continental Airlines Arena in 2006 and straight up easily buying a ticket in the parking lot.

They always criminally underplay NYC so I'm not sure they will. They could surely do a Citi Field date or two if they really wanted to, but I don't think they like here much for some reason, I remember one Eddie tour where I had to go to Philly because he didn't even have a NYC date. Anyway, I registered for the presale - don't hold out much hope because I never get codes for these things, but maybe my good luck lately with the queues for different things will translate here.

I saw Pearl Jam in Atlanta in 2003. The only time they’ve been back since then was Music Midtown in 13.

I do wonder if they'll be in play for Sound on Sound (assuming it happens at all). They are playing northeast shows including Boston, but nothing in CT, and there's a big gap between the September 17 Boston show and Nov. in New Zealand that would allow them to do it. Founders used to talk about how booking Pearl Jam for GovBall was something they always wanted to do back when GovBall was a different beast, and the band is already headlining LiveNation's BottleRock Napa, so it'd make some sense.
Maybe wishful thinking on my part, but not necessarily out of the realm of possibility.

Feel like Sound on Sound may not come back. I think they lost a ton of money last year and over-bet on a Chili Peppers headliner.
