I'm not familiar with Rufus Du Sol at all, but its really cool to see they're finally utilizing that soccer stadium for concerts. It would be great if it becomes the NYC area option for all those summer ampitheater tours we always miss out on. Red Bull is right outside of Newark, so much more accessible than PNC or Jones Beach.
Yeah could also be an interesting move for the "too big for arenas/not quite yet ready for MLB/NFL stadiums" type shows.

Tried to get Tyler The Creator tix. $230 for the 100 Section. Nah fam, I’m good. He’s playing Barclays, MSG and Prudential Center. Probably be able to score a cheap ticket closer to the date.
If anyone is interested, I have a spare ticket to Fabiana Palladino on Tue 11/12 @ Baby's All Right. Believe the show is sold out so if you want a ticket, let me know.

anyone going to Caribou and the saturday nov 23 LCD show and wanna meet up? im so pumped this is coming up so soon
I will be at both! Caribou might be tough for a meetup because, with the toddler, time is tight and my ass will be hustling to get there on time and then skinning out as soon as it's over to relieve the babysitter.
But I'm flying solo dolo for LCD on 11/23, and that might be more workable!

Its just wild to me that during the tour cycle for MCR's last album in 2010 they only did 2 nights at Terminal 5, and then the next summer they opened for Blink 182 at Jones Beach (it was billed as "co-headline" but their set was only 60 minutes long and the place wasnt that filled for them). Now 15 years have passed and they havent put out a new album since and somehow are headlining football stadiums.
I'm thinking it's less about nostalgia for millennials and more about the younger generation creating new fandom for them since their generation doesn't have its own angsty rock bands for high schoolers to obsess over.
