The Browns just cut Josh Gordon. He has to have failed a drug test or done something. It's too wild even for them to cut him otherwise.
Sounds like he was late to the facility this morning and he was 'out of sorts.' They suspected that he was impaired. He also came up with a mysterious off the field hammy injury.
They're going to end up trading him instead of cutting him, though.
Who makes a trade for Gordon? New England, San Fran, Cowboys?
Well he's not a white guy that played semipro ultimate Frisbee, so I assume the Patriots will pass
Haha, yeah. That one is very doubtful. I could just picture him having a Randy Moss type impact for the two games he is not suspended. In the AFC, Houston could use his services.
So the county that Buffalo is in banned table slamming, and plan to curb the excessive drinking at tailgates
Isn't that the whole point of going to Bills games?
The Bills have asked the Erie County Sheriff's Office to enforce a ban on table slams in the lots. About a third of attendees park in private lots (aka people's yards) and it doesn't sound like they'll be focusing on that.
Yeah, the penalty is ejection which is not a real deterrent if you're doing it after the game or you're primarily there to drink.
It's not gonna really impact tailgating that much. It's a tiny number that are doing it but Deadspin really amplifies it.
They'll evolve into something new this year. Probably more stupid and more dangerous. Give it a few weeks.
Virginia Tech is enforcing new tailgating rules for those with parking passes on campus this year. if you play music, it has to be pretty low volume. Also, they're not allowing anybody to toss around a football. Read on their message board that many received warnings from security and campus police for the home opener.
I'm hoping the lot off campus that I park in doesn't jack up prices because of demand with people giving up passes after this year. Granted, I only make it to a game or two a year now living in Asheville.
Treadwell is gonna get cut or murdered. Fans will be okay with either probably.
What happened
He's had a couple drops during the game. Now, Minnesota starts their two minute drive down five. Cousins throws it. It goes right through Treadwell's hands into the waiting arms of Clinton-Dix for the INT.

Oof doesn't he also have a TD though
Yes but I doubt most people will care especially when it's his first career touchdown in his third year.
Edit: Minnesota gets the ball again. Treadwell does not come on the field.

There was a point during the 3rd where the whole stadium was sensing a replay of the afc championship game.
Love that Marrone learned from his mistakes. We are a clearly more talented team and we were last year. Foot on the throat in the 4th for an easy win.
Easily the best game of Blakes career. The wrs left another 75 on the field with drops. Im honestly having a tough time imagining any other qb doing better today.
Keelans catch looked like catch of the year irl but idk what it looked like on TV.
We play better without Fournette. Playbook seems to open wide when he is out. Grant gets the ball more.
Similar to when the Saints were here, it was pretty sureal being 10-15 yards away from Brady and Gronk.

I don't think the foot was on our throat in the 4th. We should've went for it on that 4th and inches but definitely after we punted it was over.

Im referring to our style of play on offense. Blakes major pass to Niles Paul on 2nd and 9. In the afcc game we would have ran fournette into the centers ass 3 times there and given the ball back.

Ah yes that's fair. When you guys were about to go for it on 4th and 1 I saw you were going for the kill which was nice to see. Jags are definitely good, especially with that heat jesus

Also side note: as much as it hurt, I love seeing the jags win. Maurice Jones-Drew used to be my favorite player and I probably could find two of his jerseys in my old clothes. They've been pretty bad my whole life so it's nice to see them actually good
