CBS and NFL network must be so proud of this 1-6 Raiders game against 1-7 Niners tonight. Puke.
To make this even better, it appears Mullens is making the start for the 49ers tonight. He started the season on the practice squad after spending the entirety of last season on it.
I m catching up on the thread and I just read this and had to comment about how hard I laughed when I read this. I was so confused by the post and just busted out laughing the moment I read yours, hahaha
Troy Aikman going on and on about the Herschel Walker trade tells you all you need to know about this game and what it says about the Raiders.
If he's talking about the Mack trade, this seems non-analogous for at least two important reasons.
Walker was at the end of his career. He was washed. Mack, we think, is in his prime. He's had some recent injuries, but he still seems to be one of the best players in football, unless the Raiders know something we don't. Also, the team who traded away the player for picks clearly benefited in the Walker trade, so if he's being critical of the Raiders, he's making a poor comparison.
But that's without myself having heard what Troy said exactly.
I don't think the Raiders, without having traded Mack and Cooper, make up the 30-something deficit they had in this game. I'm not necessarily advocating for the trades they made, but maybe, just maybe, they are that fucking bad, and weren't that great before, and their front office knows it.
Mark has one of those bad mama cuts. That's awful.
Saints vs. Rams into Packers at New England is going to be a great afternoon run on Sunday. I hope we kick the f'n Rams' ass, but I don't have an opinion with our pass defense. Might be a shootout, might be a moderate (20 something to 20 something) scoring game. I wouldn't bet on this game in any form.
As a "car crash burn victim" I can agree that I asked myself if that was a burn victim as well, lolol. That haircut is something awful. I was wondering what kind of person would hire Gruden
It's weird how Brady's bragging about 1000 rushing yards. He's always been slow and at best a mediocre runner.
Russell Wilson had over 1000 rushing yards by the end of his second year in the league. Guys like Kaepernick and Cam Newton could pile up 1000 yards in less than two seasons. Brady's been a starting QB since 2001.
