Us being able to announce that the fans were banned is important even if it isn't actually effective. You can't lose control of that large of a crowd.
That's a fair point. /usr/bin/simp and a couple others I know have done security for Vols games over the years. They all say that there is exactly nothing they can do if the crowd starts something together. It's why that schools end up letting fans storm the field once it starts because stopping it would be difficult and result in worse problems.
I don't do security you jabroni, but you are correct.
With Rodgers, its tough to completely count the Pack out, but it would take a remarkable comeback to overtake Chicago or Minny, which theyve done before. But im not sure this team in particular can pull that off.
Lots of playoff-type matchups this week. Love it. Really hope we can run with Zeke like we did vs Philly. Just opens up so much for Dak and Coop/Gallup/Beas/Hurns. Atlanta will probably advance the ball a lot though. Whew thats going to be fun.

Yeah. There will be additional separation this weekend among a lot of the mid-tier teams. Some of the games:
Titans (5-4) vs. Colts (4-5) - Winner of this game remains in striking distance of the 6th AFC Wildcard. Titans with a win and a Texans loss puts the Titans back in first place in the AFC South with the big rematch coming up a week from Monday night.
Cowboys (4-5) vs. Falcons (4-5) - This is pretty much a loser leaves town match. Whomever comes out with 6 losses is probably done. Winner stays outside looking in but still in the hunt.
Bengals (5-4) vs. Ravens (4-5) - Bengals can stay in the hunt for that 6th AFC spot with a win. Baltimore likely has to win 6 of the next 7 to make the playoffs at 10-6
Texans (6-3) vs. Redskins (6-3) - Loser should still be in relatively decent shape here though a Texans win coupled with a Titans loss would give the Texans a shot to go up 3 games with only 5 to go if they can beat the Titans next Monday night.
Eagles (4-5) vs. Saints (8-1) - Eagles are desperate. They need a win here or they'll likely end up being a victim of last year's success. 4-6 with 6 to go in this year's NFC would mean their season is likely over unless they could somehow catch the Redskins in the last 6 games. An Eagles win coupled with a Redskins loss puts them only 1 game behind the Redskins who they play twice in their last 5 games giving them a chance to catch them and win the division based on head to head.
Bears (6-3) vs. Vikings (5-3-1) - Winner of this game gets sole possession of first place in the NFC North. They meet again in Week #17 which could determine the playoff fates of both teams.
Chiefs (9-1) vs. Rams (9-1) - This is the marquee matchup of the weekend. There really aren't many repercussions for the loser, as the Chiefs losing would still keep them #1 in the AFC. A Rams loss coupled with a Saints win would put the Saints up +1.5 games (because of the head-to-head and Rams not having their bye week yet) for #1 in the NFC. A Saints loss and a Rams win puts the rams back in the driver's seat with a more favorable schedule.
As to your other point, I will be cheering for the Cowboys over Atlanta. I want their ass buried at 4-6 and having to come here for an elimination game Thanksgiving night where we can hopefully put them out of their misery.
It looks like Odds Shark has the game Eagles +8.5 / Saints - 8.5. If you want to go with that spread, it's $25.00 to the winner. If I win, you can just donate the $25.00 to Adopt A Boxer Rescue which covers CT, NJ, PA, MD, NY, MA, NOVA, DC & RI. I tried to find one right there in Philadelphia, but it looks like the main one links to lots of different types of dogs available for adoption. www.adoptaboxerrescue.com/available-dogs/
edit: Alternatively, PA Boxer Rescue might be decent as well. I'll let you make the call on which one you feel serves the needs over there better. www.facebook.com/PABoxerRescue/

Sure,
So you pick a charity local to me and I donate if you win, and I'll pick a charity local to you and you donate if I win?
It's up to you. The only money bet I ever won on here was vs. Dragon last year as to whether or not the Pelicans would make the playoffs. I figured a Denver area boxer rescue was the move. So if I win any more, I'd rather it just stay in the community where it came from and help boxers. But that's just me. I'm happy to PayPal you the winnings or do whatever you want with the $25.00 should you win.

Yea let’s do a charity. If I win, I pick a charity for you to donate to and vice versa.
FWIW I think you all will cover and that’s the way I’d bet in Mississippi or Nevada. But we’re on for the bet and the Saints night be able to do something. I just expect you all will come in with a chip and play us tough.
Jake J,
I like the way y’all are playing the Steelers. Defense looks good and the running game looks almost superb.
Sean Lee should definitely go into coaching when he retires.
Since he's injured again for multiple games this season, I have a feeling retirement is going to be sooner rather than later for him unfortunately. I agree with your statement. He has shown to have football IQ.
It was nice of the NFL to give us a game against the Raiders right after the Chiefs. Makes the season more watchable.
haha god Wilks shouldn’t be allowed back in the building. That should be a career ending game for every coach and front office member in that organization.
I feel like the Saints are better than the Rams, in a playoff game I feel like you gotta go with Brees over Goff, but their D line is so good, and I feel like that's usually a good indicator of how far the team will go.

I’d like to see them at home again. It’s going to be tough for us to win the conference. I think we are looking hard at #2. I like our chances at home and not as much in L.A. I liked the smiling and dancing we were doing today and having fun trolling some shit.
