Yeah. I hate those garbage yards and touchdowns but the Saints ended up covering the -13 by 1 point. Lots of money was on them so Vegas gets ass fucked a little too.

Falcons = done. Fuck those pussies.
Yeah, I'm most upset that Brees got his second INT. But the 4 TDs are cool

That was disappointing as was the three punts. We are way ahead of the record for scoring per possession and now have 11 end the clock drives so it would be sick otherwise. But I want those records, all of them, so when they argue this era in the future, there can be no argument about how dominant our offense was.
We also covered the over under on wins at 9.5. I thought we would get that going into the season but I didn’t get to bet that.

Yeah, this season has evolved in my head from "try to make the playoffs" into "set a bunch of records." And, of course, get the #1 seed. It's like when you play any sports video games and you dominate your season but set out to win every individual player stat.
Speaking of records, outside of getting the #1 seed and going to the Super Bowl, the thing I care about the most is Brees finally getting a regular season MVP award. This season feels awfully familiar to the 2011 season when Brees statistically had possibly his best season ever but still lost out to an unbelievable season by Rodgers. Only this time, Brees' stats look like Rodgers 2011 and Mahomes looks like Brees 2011. Let's compare.
In 2011, Brees destroyed Rodgers in yardage by 833 yards and edged him out in completion percentage. However, Rodgers had the far superior TD/INT ratio, a solidly better rating, and the better regular season record.
In 2018, Mahomes is destroying Brees in yardage and TDs. However, Brees has the far superior TD/INT ratio and completion percentage, and has a better QBR and rating. Not to mention, this is also the season in which Brees broke the all-time passing yardage record.
I know that most pundits are currently saying Brees over Mahomes. My point is that I hope they stay consistent by giving MVP to the guy with the better quality performance over the guy with the bigger quantity.
Bob McNair did great by bringing pro gridiron football back to Houston and keeping the franchise as the least arrested team since 2002, but other than that, jeesh he was racist as hell.
Four owners have passed this year; Tom Benson, Alex Spanos, Paul Allen, and Bob McNair.
when Bud Adams died I posted "the lowest circle of hell is reserved for traitors, rest in peace bud." Despite everything I do not feel that way about McNair. The worst part about him is how much he's supported Mitch McConnell, but the best thing he did was bring me back football, but he kind of also ruined that to some degree. Either way, fuck Bud Adams.
The Panthers are killin me. I guess Gano used all his clutch supply on that 63 yarder earlier in the year.
It’s going to take a miracle to win the division now being 4 back with 5 to go. Y’all are still in the wild card hunt though. It’s looking like some Charlotte area boxers are going to get an Xmas present. \m/

I had no delusions of catching the saints for the division.

The bet was with Tainted Opossum, but I gave you guys a good chance as recently as a few weeks ago just based on schedule and the head to heads in weeks 15 and 17. Today was a tough loss.

cdevaney - Just saw an offensive player give Nate Hackett a big hug as I was walking. Can't think of any other reason for them to be hugging other than him just getting fired. The Bills were the last straw lol.
