Great accomplishment considering you scored 13. It’s whatever. It’s one game in a vicious stretch we went through and mostly dominated. If we see you again, rest assured we will destroy you.
I will. I figured Saints lose 3 of the last 7. All but one or two were flexed or prime time. We should go 2-2 or 3-1 in our last 4. That will be good enough to get into the playoffs at 12-4 or 13-3. Cowboys should be able to pull it off as well with final games vs the Eagles, Colts, Bucs and Giants. So there will be an opportunity for a rematch if things play out right.
Seems weird to talk shit about how much the other team scored when you scored less but ok.
Also, the Bucs seem pretty good. They beat the Saints, and the Saints are the best team? Or something?
It’s not shit talking. I responded to a brag by you with the Boosie post about the Cowboys holding the Saints to 10 by noting they only scored 13. Maybe they would have gotten another 7, maybe not. Stats say not from the red zone in that particular game, more likely another turnover. Just the same, we could have put up another 3 had we kicked the early FG. We didn’t. Final was 13-10. While a loss is a loss, that’s not your point. We scored only 77% of what you did. Neither the 13 nor the 10 is anything to brag about unless you’re looking at defenses. I did that night and gave both teams defensive respect in this very thread.
506 has a shitty slate of games tomorrow. We get Ravens at Atlanta, Panthers at Bucs and Vikings Pats late. I guess that might be decent.
Night games will matter though. Chargers at Steelers is Sunday night. Washington at Philly is Monday. The Steelers Chargers game matters for AFC playoff positioning. It still may not matter if the Chargers can’t catch the Chiefs, because they’d be a wildcard. Steelers have the 4 spot at the moment and need a win to stay just behind the other division leaders (Chiefs, Texans and Patriots). A Steelers win gives them a chance to move up to the 3 or 2 spot depending on whether either or both of the Texans and Patriots were to lose.
The Skins Eagles game is a must win if you root for either team. We will know more what’s at stake after Sunday’s games. But as it stands now, Skins are 6-5 and Eagles are 5-6. Seahawks are 6-5 (play 49ers), Vikings are 6-4-1 (play the Pats), Panthers are 6-5 (vs Bucs). A Philly loss and you’d have to think they are all but eliminated. A win would keep them a game (-1 1/2 vs Vikings) back if everyone else wins.

I wish I could back up this statement. They have the Panthers then the Saints; I'd be really surprised if they win either. I think it's going to be an interesting offseason. Who are some HC possibilities from other teams?

Scratch that. Bucs are beating the Saints next week too.
