I will be at radiohead in Dallas tonight, hopefully I can get my camera in. Tom Waits tickets are still available for the Dallas show which is at a stand up only venue. My credit cards are holding me back from buying tickets at the moment, that and having someone to go with.
I thought the Radiohead show was pretty good. I honestly think they should practice their "In Rainbows" material a bit more. Overall, good show. Great visual effects (though it reminded me of Muse way too much). I've always been a pretty big Radiohead fan, and I honestly expected a bit more, but not too disappointed about last night. Traffic was shit, and Superpages.com center sucks.

Must go to guadalupe sometime after Bonnaroo, I went tubing about a mile when it was at floodstage a couple years ago, that was pretty nutty. But I did not start from the horse shoe or I would probably be dead. People thought we were nuts.

I'm going the weekend before Bonnaroo. The texan inforoo float sounds like a fantastic idea-July perhaps?-And despite my misgivings about the Cynthia Woods as venue (and the Woodlands in general), Radiohead did indeed kill it in houston Hippie. I concur. Thanks for the vids.

brothers n sistas
Hey catz~ Just got me ticket so its final...ive been working out a schedule with some guy from austin i met, we want to rent a van or put together some type of caravan...I cant seem to get a hold of anyone but this message board is super active so here goes~
I'm coming from Dallas, which is on the way to manchester neways...Is neone interested? We can save the environment and have a rad time meeting each other!!! We would split the costs of gas and/ the rental unless someone owns a van or SUV. So itll be super cheap if we get like 2-3 more ppl to catch a ride with. There will def be more info exchanged if u pm me or email me, just right now im in a hurry to get to bed
btw neone go to radiohead in dallas...that night was divine... I ended up chilling with thom and the crew that night...first concert ever, and it all sparked this pilgrimage to Manchester. Its like Im being drawn there
btw i exist check me out on facebook~ Rachel Patterson with the faerie/dragon profile pic...Im super chill, 420 friendly, and have the best karma....ever.

Hi Everybody This my first post on infoRoo, my first trip to Roo itself, and Im honestly VERY excited! Im with astralflower, Im currently going it alone, but I admit carpooling it would be better Im leaving from Houston, probably Wednesday. Im very experienced with festivals around the US, so I would be an asset, and I usually leave the partying for when I arrive Im open and easygoing, so let the adventure roll Will Peace

anyone else remotely upset that David Cross canceled? I mean, this in no way affects my going to the roo, I was just a little sad to hear it...thoughts?

while cross is great and definately one of my fav comedians, this years latenights are set to be some of the best ever and i most definately would not have been spending them in a "chat about", so no not really. plus i've never had the patience to wait it out for the comedy tent anyhoo

For some reason I was upset to hear he cancelled, but I doubt I ever would've had the time to see him.....

hehe ya the line is pretty ridiculous, i dont think there was a time i walked by the tent last year where the line wasn't 200+ ppl long...well, maybe at 4 in the morning.
on another note, Tiesto will be in H-town and dallas on the 9th and 10th, respectively if anyone wants to get their pre-roo trance on.

What's up everyone....
OK, so as of now it's just my best buddy and myself. Gas prices are killer right now, so we'd love to set up a carpool with any Austinites heading to Roo. We may even be willing to meet up in Houston or Dallas with some people to join forces.
