Just got confirmation email that as a 2017 buyer I will have first opportunity to buy. Says its coming in April. Doesn't say how much. $799 last year.
I'm probably not buying this year since I have so many other shows to go to. That said its a good value. All you need is Lolla and like 2 more to break even. For me I am definitely only doing Gov Ball and Voodoo for sure - so not sure I will be re-upping

If Mad Cool was on this it would have been a nice deal. Looks like Rock Werchter was included last year. Wish news of this came out a little earlier to rearrange travel plans.

shaky not included - or BC - or FF - or Riot fest - and I look at those every year

They sold out in a few min last year if I remember correct. It was a good deal for me - Lolla, gov ball, ACL, Voodoo, Music Meadows, some of Peach. Did a few I would not have because I had it and I because of it Voodoo is an auto book for me at this point.
having done it last year a couple things - going from $800 to $1,000 kills a lot of the deal here if you are on the fringe. You lose the ability to potentially play stubhub chicken or take advantages of some deals that my pop up. If you are thinking Lolla that helps since that is a $400 ticket right there. They added Shaky Knees which is new. There are festivals on this thing that have happened, or will happen prior to receiving this - which is just dumb. Picking up your bracelet pre-fest sucks. You need to stand in line with all the other will-call people, although I always flashed the thing and just marched right to the front of the line.
I have my shaky knees and homecoming fest tickets already purchased. I am doing those plus gov ball, voodoo, and sea hear now from the offered festivals. Lolla blows this year IMO and I am passing it this year. ACL is lineup dependent. I don't camp so Roo is out.
The value is not there for me for $1K this year - sadly, cause this thing was a big part of my life last year. Hope others enjoy

I really appreciate your feedback, especially since you have purchased one in the past.
If I had the money, I would probably do this just because I could go to Voodoo, ACL and Bonnaroo (or Shaky Knees since the lineup is better) on it, which in theory would make it worth it. It just sucks because I know people that were thinking about doing it but with the price raise, will probably not now. Ticketmaster just can't let a good thing ride. They always gotta fuck it up.

When does the Live Nation Festival Passport expire?
The last day to use your Live Nation Festival Passport is April 17, 2019.
Looks like they changed it this year.
Must have gotten complaints? I mean it is kind of shitty that they would offer it in April and have fests that already happened on the list that you couldn't even use. I am glad that they changed the end date to actually be a full year.
Anyone buy a passport? I had it in my cart this morning and was struggling with the decision before ultimately deciding to be an adult and empty the cart.

I did not. I wanted to, but I felt that getting it would mean committing to travel expenses and fests that I didn't necessarily want to go to. As of now I'm for sure going to Shaky, strongly leaning towards Roo, don't really want to go to Lolla, and hopefully will go to ACL if the lineup is solid, but might just get a day pass. Voodoo might be good, but at 1000 dollars for the pass, the math just doesn't quite work for me.
The possibility of getting discounted tickets on the resale market makes it even harder to justify.
