My second vote is between Hambone and Kim Smoltz, and I could be swayed either way.
Would either of you be willing to walk me through exactly what you would do if you were at your festival from Thurs-Sun and go into detail on why the experience would be so awesome? I know this is a bit of a chore, but I don't want to be missing anything before voting.
On Thursday I'd start out with SiR, a rising star at TDE. Then I'd be forced to make a decision between Frank Ocean collaborator Alex G or rising hip hop sensation Smino, either way I'd see a fantastic show. From there I would most likely split half of Stormzy's set and half of Andy Stott's set both two of the best acts in their respective genres. After that I'd head over to Tzusing, a rising techno star from Hong Kong (though indie fans could see Liars > Parquet Courts at this time). Biggest act of Thursday would then be Hozier who would be the first person to play Which Barn on a Thursday. Following Hozier, treat yourself to the sounds of underground hiphop legend Lil Ugly Mane, or get your disco on with a set from Talaboman. You could then close your late night Thursday with either a jazzy James Holden set, or the intense techno of Paranoid London.
On Friday I'd start my day with Rufus Wainwright, one of the most underrated showmen around. From there I'd catch the second half of Detroit Love, a b2b2b set from Moodymann, Carl Craig and Kyle Hall. From there I would get in the Kanye pit line and get to enjoy Sufjan Stevens and Grace Jones mindblowing shows while waiting for Yeezus himself. Kanye from the pit, worth the ticket price alone. Then a late night barn with performance from Spiritualized and then D'angelo & The Vanguard. This would be the greatest day of any festival ever.
My Saturday would start with the legends The Zombies performing one of the greatest albums ever, Odessey & Oracle, for it's 50th anniversary. From there I'd probably see half of Susanne Sundfor and then half of Ben Howard (festival exclusive). I'd then go check out Owen Pallett who you may know from his work with Arcade Fire, Grizzly Bear, REM, Taylor Swift, The National, Caribou, Majical Cloudz, Charlotte Gainsbourg, etc. Then I'd check out Chris Stapleton, someone so good even non country music fans can't help but love. After that this night gets really crazy! While most of the crowds are at Sheeran, I'd be seeing Grizzly Bear > The Streets (playing all the hits) > Four Tet (live). Three amazing shows in a row. Then comes possibly the worst conflict of my festival The Prodigy vs John Talabot vs Boris vs Apparat. I'd probably choose Apparat but there is literally no wrong answer there. I'd then probably see Stromae over Planetarium since I saw Planetarium last year, but a barn going The Prodigy into Planetarium is pretty insane. I'd close the night with part of xiu xiu into Bicep one of the best live electronic shows touring today.
Sunday I would start with the Punch Brothers, a perfect way to start a hot Bonnaroo Sunday. Then comes Cat Stevens (legend), Lupe Fiasco > The National > TI > Live From Here (hosted by Chris Thile). amazing run and you just know people like Jose Gonzalez, Joanna Newsom, Sufjan, etc will show up for Live From Here. David Gilmour would then put on the greatest headlining performance of all time followed by The The reunionon which, and SOPHIE literally destroying The Other Barn to end the festival.

Sorry Hammy, but Kim has Radiohead. JS.
a lot more people around here have had the chance to see Radiohead than have had the chance to see David fucking Gilmour

David Gilmour is cool but outside of the fact that he’s a great guitarist and has a cool light show, there really isn’t much interest for me to see him. He doesn’t really do Floyd songs any justice and I don’t care for his solo stuff. The Rolling Stones on the other hand....

what the fuck?
I said he was a great guitarist and had a cool light show and that's pretty much all that video is. Comfortably Numb is basically just a 7 minute guitar solo. A great one, but I don't want to see 2 hours of just good guitar playing.

you also said he doesn't do Floyd songs justice, a completely moronic statement. More evidence:

Thanks for putting this together. I am going to listen to these artists (few songs) in order before making my decision. Also love your dedication to the term "barn."

His voice cracks throughout that whole performance. It's cool to have some gruff to a singing voice but there are parts where he flat out misses the mark so much. Plus, Shine On deserves better visuals than that. Waters really has the right idea with his set ups.
e: plus what's Pink Floyd without the political message that Waters brought?
Gilmour is a better singer and a better musician than Waters, not to mention a rarer show. I just think all voters should take into consideration when voting that Tranter thinks David Gilmour doesn't do Pink Floyd songs justice lmfao

The performance is still really good but Floyd songs should only be performed at a world-class level. Something only Waters brings these days.
I feel like the live comedy part of my lineup isn't getting enough attention. What other festival can you attend the live tapings of some of the funniest shows on television?
To anyone who wishes to answer: How many acts on your lineup have you seen before? Which act that you haven't seen would you be the most excited for?
On my lineup, I've seen 28 (and a half). Which shouldn't be that surprising - one of the ways I brainstormed acts was to think of the best shows I've seen in the last five years.
Acts I would be most excited to see for the first time: Justin Timberlake Massive Attack N*E*R*D Pharrell Lauryn Hill The Lonely Island Jimmy Page John Carpenter Yo La Tengo Echo and the Bunnymen Basement Jaxx
This reminded me that I'm seeing Waters in 1,5 months from now and those video's (even though they're from Gilmour) made me fucking excited about it. Can't wait man

you're forgetting to mention that Iron Maiden 2018 has a song where bruce dickenson pretends to be a monkey doing weird gyrations and hand motions on the stage for like 6 minutes, plus they didn't even play Hallowed, like wtf is that.
i probably should have finished my clashfinder but i had portishead > MBV > cornelius with nina going til the sun came up leading to a Stott sunrise show. oops.
