i probably should have finished my clashfinder but i had portishead > MBV > cornelius with nina going til the sun came up leading to a Stott sunrise show. oops.
i voted for you anyway but I would have voted even harder.
i will say that without the arena center idk what roger does at a festival date. I guess it's what happened at desert trip, but the drop down in the middle was sick.
Have you in the last two years? We have barns now, bro.
Haha, no I didn't go last year. The year before we did spend some time in one of those barns, but it was still a million degrees in there. Do these new barns have AC?
Thur.-Daughter> ? don't know any of the options>?>Rhye>Shamir>Goat (pretty good Thur. but those gaps hurt it) Fri.Alvvays>Parquet Courts>E,W,&F>Busta>Chris Rock>NERD>Chance>probably some of Basement Jaxx and bed, because I'm old now and nothing that would keep me up Sat.Pharcycde>UMO but it will way too fucking hot>Temples>Banks>Alicia Keys but bummed because you put a 90's hip hop superjam against it>McCartney>Massive Attack>you're killing me having Lauryn that late and what if she's not on time? but I'd have to power through it Sun.-Russian Circles if I can make it in that early>Yob>Thurston Moore>Yo La>Pharrell but I'd have to leave to see Jimmy Fucking Page, even though I'm not sure what he does in a solo show?> JT
This would be a pretty good fest, probably on par with 15 and 16 but you have McCartney so that's a plus. I had ranked you #1 because most bands I wanted to see and least amount of conflicts
Hambonnaroo
Thur.-I either don't know or not a big fan of anything on Thur. other than Parquet Courts. So I either would have found a lot of stuff in reserach or been really bored on Thur. Fri.-I've never been the type to stay at camp till fucking 4 pm, so I have no idea what I'd do?Angelo Badalamante let's get weird to start with>would love to stay for Grouper but have to get to Sufjan>Interpol>Kelly Lee Owens>get a super early rail spot for Spiritualized and D'Angelo which is an infuckingcredible way to end a night, but I should be well rested because you gave me nothing to do earlier and also remembering why I didn't vote for you in the first rd. If you let me make your clashfinder you would have won easily. Sat.-Again nothing till 5 pm? Susanne Sundfor>Ben Howard>Chris Stapleton>Grizzly Bear>Four Tet>Apparat>Planetarium way too fucking late and fuck anything after that. But this day had really great sets Sun.-Punch Brothers>Joanna Newsom>Cat Stevens>The National>would love to go to Live From Here but no way I'm leaving a stage David Gilmoour is about to play. Bonus David Gilmour is about to play. Again fuck anything after that.
Roger Waters has one of the best - if not the best - live shows I've ever seen. I'd love to see Gilmour as well but I doubt he'd top Rogers' show.
I don't know why Roger Waters got so much praise on this tour. I saw him twice and I'm ngl, it wasn't anything overly special. I'm def in the minority there, but I think McCartney's stage show is better than Waters'. Sure, he made a factory come down over the audience which was kinda cool, but as a performer I feel like he left a lot to be desired.
Cap'n Thurs: I don't know any of these people > Rhye > Shamir > Gang of Youths > Flight Facilities Fri: Kehlani (but why she so early tho, bro?!) > The Wailers > Stormzy > Jarryd James (he should've been LN tho) > EWF > Busta > Cher > Chris Rock > Nosaj Thing > NERD > Chance > Bob Moses > Lonely Island SJ (this would be legit af, and I'm salty you put them up against Crystal Method) > End of Crystal Method Sat: Foxygen > Cat Power > Jagwar Ma (again, why so early?!) > Glen Hansard > T-Pain (or Temples, this would be a game time decision) > Bill Murray > Dawes > This conflict sucks big fat donkey dick Cap'n Mac... what the actual fuck, why is your SJ before the HL?!?... I guess I'd go with the Superjam, which means I'm missing Nick Murphy and Alicia Keys, which is ridiculous... Or actually, I'd prob go with Alicia Keys so I could camp out for Paul. > Paul. > Toro y Moi > Massive Attack > Lauryn Hill > end of Glass Animals
Sun: Shakey Graves > London Grammar > Poliça > Marian Hill > Yo La Tengo > Pharell > JT
I'm obviously partial to this line up, since I helped with a lot of the acts, but I feel like the scheduling is all over the place and I'd be running around like crazy- which is a good thing. At least I don't have a lot of empty gaps. that Sat Pre HL conflict is dumb tho. Ugh. I'd def pay for this fest though. But, tbf, Paul alone would make me do that. (He is what got me to my first roo after all.)
Ham: Thurs: Stormzy > Parquet Courts I guess to fill time > Hozier > I don't know/like any of these people
Fri: Rufus Wainwright > eat a sandwich > 50 Cent or Jagwar Ma (this would be another game time decision) > I guess Grace Jones (since this is really the only thing scheduled right here) > Boys Noize > Kanye > Spiritualized > D'Angelo
Sat: Run DMC > Grizzly Bear > Ed Sheeran (but why the conflicts here?! I'd want to see The Streets and Four Tet) > Prodigy > Nosaj Thing > I don't know/like any of these people
Sun: Punch Brothers > Miguel > eat a sandwich > The National > David Gilmour > Sleater- Kinney
Like I said from the get go, I know so few acts on your line up it'd be hard to justify spending Bonnaroo prices on this fest. But it's prob just because we don't have similar taste in music.
Katy: Thurs: Woods / Alunageorge > Banks > Jessie Ware > Real Estate > end of Vic Mensa
Fri: Reggie Watts > Two Door Cinema Club > eat a sandwich > FJM > CHVRCHES > Sigur Ros > Hans > eat a sandwich > Tyler
Sat: Annie Lennox > Kaytranada > eat a sandwich > Ty Dolla $ign > Weird Al > eat a sandwich > Chic or Die Antwoord (game time decision) > Gorgon City
Sun: Shamir > Bob Moses > Tori Amos > Yo La Tengo/ Fiona Apple (I'd prob split these sets) > Van Morrison > The Shins > Peter Gabriel
I feel like your line up suffers the same problem I have with tristan's. I just don't think we share a lot of the same music tastes, so I either don't know or like a lot of the acts, so I end up with a ton of gaps in my schedule.... I also realized while doing this that you lack any real, solid headliners. So I couldn't justify spending Bonnaroo prices on this fest.
Kim: Thurs: Lake Street Dive > Phil Lesh for a little bit I guess > Vic Mensa > Sohn > eat a sandwich > Gramatik
Fri: Bombino / Trombone Shorty > eat a lot of sandwiches (realistically I wouldn't even come into centeroo yet bc I'm not standing in the heat for any of these acts) > Ryan Adams > The New Pornographers > AF > Thom Yorke / Lotus > The Weeknd > ouch, Schoolboy Q vs Robyn hurts, this would be a game time decision > Bob Moses
Sat: Neko Case > Broken Social Scene > eat a sandwich > beginning of The Wood Brothers > end of Sylvan Esso > Little Dragon > beginning of LL Cool J > end of Avetts > Anderson. Paak > Radiohead > beginning of Disclosure > end of Shpongle
Sun: Hamilton Leithauser > Drive By Truckers > eat a sandwich > Deer Tick > Eric B & Rakim > Flo > Santana > U2
I think this is a really hectic schedule for me. But there are lots of gaps and a lot of stuff that I'm passively interested in. Thurs is def the weakest day for me. But I think I could justify Bonnaroo prices for it. Esp if I had a good group of friends going.
King: Thurs: I don't know any of these people > Cashmere Cat > Of Montreal
Fri: Social Distortion > eat a sandwich > Jenny Lewis > eat a sandwich > Yo La Tengo > eat a sandwich > Banks > Duran Duran > Gorillaz > Bon Iver (set 2) > Bob Moses > Earl Sweatshirt
Sat: Damian Marley > The Streets > eat a sandwich > Stephen Colbert or Jagwar Ma (game time decision) > Iron & Wine > SOAD > Morrissey > Jay Z > Justice or 50 (another game time decision) > Jeezy
Sun: I don't know any of these people (some by name, but idk what they sound like, ie. whitney) > Band of Horses > Mariana & the Diamonds > Chris Rock > Future Islands > Blur > Pet Shop Boys > The Rolling Stones
I thought your line up would give me a lot more conflicts than it did because I really love your line up on paper. I have a lot of dead spots though, but everything I'm seeing I'd be pretty excited for, so not a lot of filler acts. Overall I'd pay for this fest.
Iron Maiden would be one the biggest headliners ever, for Bonnaroo.
Not an Iron Maiden fan, but Bjork & Van Morrison aren’t Bonnaroo sized headliners. I feel like Iron Maiden isn’t either, but since I don’t know much about them I could be totally wrong there bc I have no scope of their fan base. I think your line up (like Tristan’s) are really good niche festivals, I’m just not in that niche. They’re not as wide appealing as the other 3.
Edit: according to jack I’m very wrong re: Iron Maiden. Like I said, I don’t follow them at all so I didn’t know. But I stand by bjork & van Morrison not being bonnaroo sized HLers

There’s a lot of good stuff on my Thursday that I would recommend to anyone. A lot of good rap, electronic and some heavier rock. I’ll post some acts in a bit that I think you’d like.
EDIT: here's an Aussie band named Cub Sport (slow burning indie rock)
Blood Red Shoes (English rock band)
Loyle Carner & Tom Misch (seperate artists but collab a lot)
Iron Maiden would be one the biggest headliners ever, for Bonnaroo.

my fest isn't really niche at all imo. my headliners are all huge
