Dreams was cool and it's good to see Daniel Johns participating in music again. For a bit he seemed like a lost soul. He may still be...who knows. Selfishly, I would to see Silverchair at some point but I won't hold my breathe.
DREAMS was one of my fav sets I saw on the stream last night. Looked like a huge dance party...really hoping we get some more US dates soon.

What do you like about it? The energy? Lyrics? I just don't get it, I guess. Daniel Caesar has been a huge letdown for me as well. Is there somewhere where I could find who the replays will be? There are a few you all raved about that I'd like to check out.

The energy and the lyrics, ya that’s a good start.

I think he’s a no bullshit rapper who tells it like it is, stays true to who he is and what he knows and skips the bling for substance.
Looks like mostly the streams are in order. What I don’t know is if you will be able to access them when the new broadcast starts and they renew the feeds to the channels.

Vince is my favorite rapper (other than Ye) right now.
For me, it's not really the lyricism or attitude all that much. That stuff is there, and it's important, but it's almost a given for a good rapper.
What separates him for me is the beats he picks. I loved the production on Summertime and then it got pretty out there on Big Fish Theory. I could listen to instrumentals of most of his tracks and enjoy them almost as much as the versions with him on it, probably.
Fun fact: '06, the last track off Summertime 06, has been my ringtone for a couple years. That beat fucking knocks.

I've never listened to him because I saw a bit of his set once and he was just yelling inaudibly into the mic so I couldn't understand what he was saying at all. It was all crowd control stuff the whole time I was there as well and the beats didn't grab me. I did like Norf Norf on the stream, but that was about it.
I appreciate your tone in the response, though. Makes me wanna give him another shot.
There's just so much to love in those opening bars.
Anyways, I just enjoy Vince for what he is...solid, no-frills rapper. I don't feel like disecting it. His set at the restaurant stage at Hangout was one of favorite of all time.
I dig Marian Hill and will see them again soon, but it’s kind of hard to feel the heat because they are usually really loud with a bass punch and the sultriness of what they do plays off of and contrasts that. That’s an element that doesn’t cross to tv.
