Pretty great lineup of artists. If you're into Petty songs this should be a great set.
Also, am I crazy or does that background image look like Steph (custeph) is in it? Maybe someone else but I just noticed a glasses-wearing person that made me think it washer.
So we think Sheryl crow will do stop dragging my heart around. The Watson twins perform handle with care. Anyone else listed here have a history of performing any petty songs?
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

While a cool idea, I have two thoughts: 1. Holy shit, I just remembered VHS or Beta existed 2. RIP hopes and dreams for a superjam involving Nile Rodgers. I can't help but feel he would've been one of the best SJ leaders/curators.

Larkin Poe has covers of "Wildflowers" and "American Girl" on YouTube.

I imagine they’ll get wildflowers then and American girl will go to a bigger artist

It will be interesting to see how crowded Bassnectar will be with this awesome Superjam running at the same time.
According to the leaked schedule Bassnectar starts at 12 and the Superjam starts at 1:15. Bassnectar should be ending right as this starts. Also that means no Bassnectar sound bleed for this awesome superjam.
Well you see the woman is dead and he dresses up her dead body and dances with it. It’s also about drugs
BUT AT THE END SHE OPENS HER EYES!?!?!?! WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
Was she faking it the whole time? Did Tom Petty heal resurrect her?
as an adolescent i hyperanalyzed the "November Rain" video. the biggest unanswered question is why the guy jumped through the cake when it started raining.
anyway i think this superjam will be great. i'd love going from bassnectar to this, would be a great LN.

2019 Shows: 4/30 - Vampire Weekend 6/28 - Father John Misty & Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit 9/6 - Cardi B w/ Teyana Taylor 9/28 - Vulfpeck w/ The Fearless Flyers
Pretty Hilarious that Roo can't get "The Texas Gentlemen" right in an announce.
Well, it is only one member. Thus, a Texas ‘gentleman’. Lol.
Also, I choose not to criticize that mistake when the superjam itself is actually surprisingly appealing.
This reminded me of when my friends and I saw Nappy Roots a few years back, and my friend went up to one of the members after the show and said, "You're my favorite Nappy Root." I don't know why that, and this, are so funny to me.
I think this Superjam would be the tits. I love Tom Petty and never had the chance of seeing him when he was alive. I don't know that I'd go for the whole show since my plans to see Bassnectar fell through recently and he's one I'd like to cross off the bucket list based on friends (constant) recommendations, and I'm a Porter fan boy and love the Virtual Self project, but singing along to all these songs I grew up listening to at my favorite festival would be a blast. I'm wondering how crowded this will be, I have no idea how to gauge how many people would choose this over Chromeo and The Other Stage.

I would imagine that anybody who makes a point to get there before the show actually starts will be fine crowd-wise. Nectar is gonna hog the majority of attendance, so until he’s done, things won’t be bad. Might get crowded after that, though. But probably not obnoxiously so.
Kinda random thought, but I want to point out that I enjoy the fact that the poster pretty much specifies who the backing band throughout will be, with ‘guests’ listed at the bottom. Past years kind of just had everyone listed and you couldn’t really tell to what extent any given artist would be involved.
