Look out (sadly) for Imagine Dragons to headline 1 of the 2 nights of Almost Acoustic Christmas. But i'm not 100% sure of this info like I am with the Taylor Swift dates.
Are they at least following in the grand tradition of the "popular alt rock night" and the "indie rock night?"

Arcade Fire are doing "Neon Bible" in full in NYC this weekend. If they want night 2 at the Forum to not look as embarrassing as it currently does on the unsold seating map (plus I'm sure some ticket holders will no-show due to...uh, Win Butler reasons), they should turn it into Neon Bible night as well.

Is that what theyre trying to do to make sure people show up?

A group of inforoo ladies are doing a trip to LA for Harry and AF, and now some of us are completely conflicted on even going to AF. It's too bad we can't get refunds.

I totally get it, because I had a trip to Chicago planned to see AF with a friend which we've scrapped, agreeing we needed to hang out under better circumstances. Broke even on the ticket resale, but of course this was the one time I felt confident booking a strict-cancelation-policy Airbnb, so I ate it on cost there. At least with the shows here, I can rest easier knowing I didn't spend some exuberant travel cost.

Almost Acoustic lineup tomorrow. It's been many years since one of those lineups appealed to me, but I feel like Wet Leg are at least playing given their week-long gap in the US then and they've been getting decent radio play. The 1975 are probably playing too.

Looks like it's one night, instead of two. I heard from some ppl at KROQ that Imagine Dragons is headlining, but they could have been pulling my leg.
Gonna be in LA next Friday and Saturday. What’s good those days?
This coming Fri/Sat or the following weekend? Travis is doing "The Invisible Band" at the Ace this weekend, I had a ticket to the April show before it got canceled but I can't make this one.
Anyway, here's the AAC lineup. Honestly a fair bit better than I expected. Shame about the eyesore of a headliner:

November 11th and 12th, next week.
Harry Styles, Beabadoobee, bret mckenzie, the paranoyds, the encanto sing along, 311. Dont think you wanna see moz
Ben Harper is opening for Harry Styles? Not the fan crossover I would expect.
def was a favor called in. All the other support acts are newer and relevant. Its a huge head scratcher why you couldnt have somebody only a couple records into their career get this chance.

Maybe Harry’s a fan? I mean I like Ben, I had my run of seeing him live about 7 times in my youth. He’s a local guy too but yea, wasn’t expecting that.

But its really weird that all his other openers are "cool" and then you got the dad rocker for no reason. Like the guy doesnt need a career boost. And its not as if there arent other local acts that couldve fit this in? Either way, it stinks this show got moved cause my gf's sister was going tonight. Now its sunday. At least no nfl game to mess with anything.
Giving away two tickets for Just Mustard on Nov. 22. A family emergency is bringing me back East so I’ll have to miss out on seeing them again : ( DM me if interested.
Who’s got the scoop on if System of a Down is playing LA again next year? I see them teasing a Vegas fest for May 13…
Scoopless at the moment, but i'll keep an eye out. I thought I read in an interview with Serj that the shows at Banc of California earlier this year were their "last shows" or something like that? Or is that their schtick, to always hint that the current run of shows is their last.

That was the narrative leading up to those LA shows for sure. I went to both nights and they were masterful. Maybe they had such a good time, they’re coming back for a few more shows next year - I mean, hell if they can play a couple fests and SoCal arena shows, that’s easy money.
Hoping they do their proper tour the Southwest and nowhere else MO! Would love to catch them again with a new setlist without having to go to Vegas for this fest with Korn, Incubus, and Evanescence lol
I think its easy to go do this and no other shows. 7 figure check for 90 mins is a no brainer. If system does other shows itll tank the fest resale market though.

Vegas was a stop on their tour last year before Serj caught COVID. I don’t see them just playing this fest and nothing else, especially no warm up shows. But what do I know…
Honestly, would die for a secret club show in LA before they play Vegas.
