Not my scene but this is supposed to be a really good lineup I think
This is super good. Pity Sex broke up a few years ago and I guess this is their first announced show back. I thought Gulch broke up but glad I’m wrong. Anxious and Fiddlehead fucking rule.
If I lived there, I’d be there in a heartbeat.
E: just noticed Praise is on here. I’m in Baltimore tonight for the record release show. It’s a fun little album.
Thanks. Just figuring out in the slim chance we get Harry Styles tickets where to stay.
Thanks to SoFi, that area is rapidly gentrifying, but it's still kind of a pain get to. As someone said, Manhattan Beach is probably good place to stay, as are Redondo and Hermosa, but I would probably still count on renting a car.
Anybody else going to try for Black Keys at the Troubadour next week? I have no particular interest in their new album, but I'd see just about anyone at the Troub (which is how I ended up seeing Hootie and the Blowfish there in 2019).

I'm definitely interested but my fiance hates small venues haha. Wonder how crazy prices will be...I've also been eyeing Circle Jerks, Mastodon, and Kurt Vile (eh) that night as well.
Ticketing gods were clearly against me getting into Black Keys. When I tried at 11 yesterday, See Tickets ran into server issues for roughly 18 minutes. Nothing like those Glastonbury onsale flashbacks.

Long shot, but if anyone knows how I can get 2 tickets to Big Thief at Pappy and Harriet’s this Sunday, let me know. Been on the waitlist for a while now and there’s none on the resell sites.

Check the Big Thief subreddit, any Big Thief Facebook groups, and Craigslist. Also post on all of those. There will definitely be someone selling last minute, always is, especially for an out of the way venue like Pappy's.
11/19: Caribou 11/22: Ranger Trucco 11/29: Armand Van Helden* 1/16: L'Impératrice 1/30: Jamie xx 2/1: DJ Seinfeld 2/7: Mild Minds* 3/1: Father John Misty* 3/19: Confidence Man 3/23: DARKSIDE 5/8: Rüfüs Du Sol
Jamie xx went up early. $99 for the front. Ga pool. Everythings avail except middle boxes. $85,65,45 other prices.
What do you think was the deal with middle garden boxes? They can't have held back all of Garden 3, 4 and 5 for production holds, that's way too many tickets.
Anyways, snagged front row Garden 2, so that's not a bad compromise.

The rich subscribers boxes which they just automatically hold them and dont sell. Its odd cause if this eas ticketmaster then they set em aside for "platinum charity" Ive never sat in those either. Like Ive been in the 20's and the 60's other than pool when a bowl show has been put on sale and tou had this kind of selection. The weird one was D and E benches having the first 8 rows blocked off. Thats where I have my season seats so I wouldve been pissed if those are not avail to me.
Yikes...did some rough math and there's somewhere between 2,500-3,000 Animal Collective tickets unsold for the Greek. I wonder if they even break even.

Wow that's like half empty. A booking that probably made a lot more sense 10 years ago.

Meh, obviously it’s not good in terms of revenue for them but parking should be a breeze and hopefully no annoying casuals like at a fest. I’m excited regardless! Fontaines tomorrow, AnCo in SD Thursday (first time at that venue and it looks sick) AnCo at the Greek Friday, JLH Saturday (cmon cheap resale tix!) and Murakamis new exhibit at the Broad on Sunday. Just hope my old ass can keep up!!
Edit: just checked on StubHub, JLH tickets are down to $100 including fees.. very tempting to jump on them at that price…

Might have a friend who is dumping a ticket last minute if that helps ease the concern of waiting on the dip.
