Meh, obviously it’s not good in terms of revenue for them but parking should be a breeze and hopefully no annoying casuals like at a fest. I’m excited regardless! Fontaines tomorrow, AnCo in SD Thursday (first time at that venue and it looks sick) AnCo at the Greek Friday, JLH Saturday (cmon cheap resale tix!) and Murakamis new exhibit at the Broad on Sunday. Just hope my old ass can keep up!!
Edit: just checked on StubHub, JLH tickets are down to $100 including fees.. very tempting to jump on them at that price…
Might have a friend who is dumping a ticket last minute if that helps ease the concern of waiting on the dip.
Anyone else attempting to get Kendrick tickets today? Trying for both his last show of the tour in LA on the 15th of Sept, and the Anaheim show on the 7th of Sept

Gonna try for San Diego. Is there a presale code for the Live Nation presale?

I don't think so? Usually I just sign into the LN app and it let's me into the presale
I feel like SD and Anaheim will be way easier to get than the LA dates

I would but I’m broke AF right now and I know tickets are gonna be pricey

I don't even remember the last time LB Arena held a big concert other than the Complex Con performances. I really wish they'd tear it down and build something new finally. City is too attached to that mural.
Did not know Joyce Manor could potentially fill an arena (relatively small arena but still)
Got in for both but these prices didn't make sense to me.
General Admission was reserved for CashApp presale only. The Live Naton presale seat prices have to be spiked up. $130 for nose bleeds BEFORE FEES? Yeah no. It said $55 on the event page. Will wait and see if regular sale has different prices. If not, I'll wait last minute and hit Offer Up when it comes down to face value closer to the event date.
Edit: That thing is playing with my emotions, was about to close the tab and then it showed GA being available for LN presale at $180 before fees. How is GA and the 200 section seats the same price? And how are the 100 section seats $230? Doesn't make sense to me, but oh well. $180 isn't too bad for GA, relatively speaking.

dynamic pricing is a bitch isnt it.
theyre def adding. the whole weekend is open at the crypt.
I don't understand the purpose of dynamic pricing.. is it to discourage resellers? Checked stubhub and saw dummy numbers like $600 for mid section seats but $300 for floor. What. Yeah no that's def coming down to face value or below come September.

Dynamic and platinum serve that exact purpose. Wait for the official TM resale tix to come up and its gonna be a sea of pink dots. The problem with Dynamic is that its not even in real time, they just do it before the sale starts and guage the queue demand.
STIL SELLING: Sigur Ros for tonight at the Shrine Auditorium Orchestra Left Center Row A (front row of orchestra) Tickets were $171.99 after fees, but i'll sell them for $150 each
Kjartan is back in the band! They're playing two sets with an intermission, no opener! You don't want to miss this!
It's been a while since I've been there, but you're kinda screwed either way there since USC owns much of the surrounding real estate, and I wouldn't trust venturing too far outside that immediate area. If you can, park in the garage north of the Shrine, or even the main lot out front if you get there early enough. The big garage across the street to the south sucks getting out of after the show unless you leave early.
When I go to LAFC games I usually find parking in the residential streets off of Vermont across the street from campus. It’s a short walk through expo park to the stadium. I believe the Shrine is half a block away.
Honestly I always just park in the structure that's right next to it. Prices have never been bad for me there. I park there and walk over for Banc of California too
Thanks for the Shrine parking tips y'all. Found $1 parking (meter) on Figueroa lol
Nice! Getting meter parking right before 6pm is always a blessing lol. I usually do that when I go to The Forum since you get a number spot and don't have to wait in line all day to get in early for GA.
Is H.E.R. still opening for Coldplay? That will probably determine if I'll go or not. While Coldplay is still on my bucket list, if the setlist is 75% new songs I don't care for it.

For anyone in LA not going to Just Like Heaven tomorrow, I have two tickets to see Evil Dead at the New Beverly’s sold out midnight showing tomorrow (Saturday) night.

For the 2023 show? I doubt it. And check coldplays setlist, its what is expected from them.
