"Love need not be a command nor faith a dictum. I am my own god. We are here to unlearn the teachings of the church, state, and our educational system. We are here to drink beer. We are here to kill war. We are here to laugh at the odds and live our lives so well that Death will tremble to take us." — Charles Bukowski

Im in OKC. So far my group is around 10 people. (who knows who might bail out on us) Anyone is welcome to caravan. Just gotta find a central meeting point. Tulsa folk, i assume that you take I-40 out there too? If So we should meet up in Fort Smith Arkansas or whatever you think is best.
When does everyone plan on leaving OK for the farm? I usually skip town starting tuesday with no stops. I like to be there bright and early Wednesday to get some supplies at walmart before it turns into a zoo.
We leave Wednesday and stay an hour out from the farm that night, usually in Dickson. I wish we could get there earlier, but we can't check in to VIP until 10am Thursday.

Is there a "perfect" place in fort smith to meet? A mcdonalds right off the highway? or somewhere decent to eat? Somewhere preferrably that we dont get off the beaten trail too far.

There is a McDonald's right off of the highway.
Or a Denny's.
The highway pretty much leads to the main road, and it isn't hard to get back onto once your down, it's just one long road with most of the main restaurants on it.
I'm coming from Oklahoma but heading through Texas then on to Tuscaloosa picking up friends along the way.
I have a question and I'm not sure where to ask it. Does anyone know of a truckstop near Roo where a girl can get one last real shower before heading to the farm?
I plan on bringing some sort of flagpole with either an Oklahoma State flag or something to show I am from Oklahoma. (I do not own an Oklahoma flag) *Interesting note, the state flag of Oklahoma has a "peace pipe on it.*
I would love to meed the people from Oklahoma. Well I would love to meet everyone at bonnaroo, but thats not gonna happen.
If anybody sees any sort of Oklahoma flag stop by, we Okies are known for our hospitality.
