Just placed my deposit and got my receipt for staying at The Love Fields. I had stayed at Festibell previously and enjoy being near Gate C. Anyone else "Glamping" anywhere?

Lana is a great add for me. I've been waiting to catch one of her shows. Looks like we might also get Angel Olsen which would also be big for me. The lineup is really starting to look like its going to be very strong this year. It will be interesting to see how the conflicts will play into who we can realistically see.
Angel Olsen is def playing. A promoter announced a show right before the fest and said it was a glasto warm up. Has the big gap in the weekend, so its for sure.
According to Emily Eavis there wont be anymore announcements until the poster comes out. And there will be some big surprises. Also 2021 headliners are “penciled in”.
Word is that there will be a day of only female acts on the pyramid. Should be Sunday then if it's true.
Already shot down by people at the fest. They were quick to respond to the rumor. Itll be nice to see so many females billed highly unlike Reading/Leeds.

I do anticipate that if Glasto does cancel it's going to happen before the resale. It just makes sense to cancel before you take everyone's money and have to deal with refunds.

Definitely agree. They could always push the resale/balance day back as far as possible, though, to buy some time. They need to make a go/no decision before they start paying millions to vendors and the like. Is that beginning of May? End of May? Beginning of June? No clue.

Yup, the hubby and I were just having this exact conversation. It's early enough for them that they could avoid losing millions more in the event of a cancellation/postponement.
If they push back the balance day/resale we may have to cancel anyways. Our original itinerary (including Glasto) was going to be Rome > Paris > Amsterdam > London... if the current travel bans remain or expand I would be at serious risk of being denied entry back into Australia if we choose to still go on this trip :/ ...
Ruh roh is likely to go with the Uk announcing theyre going into Delay Phase. Which means theyll restrict large gatherings for a certain amount of time. Would still keep Glasto in good standing though because itll be lifted by then.
BUT, if you want good news then it seems that theres an announcement today. Either another act or the full poster, but something. No specific time but soon it seems. Looks like they could want to give people something uplifting for the moment and at least let everyone with a ticket of what will be there even if this goes bad.

I definitely know nothing! I was more just commenting on the European travel ban - I know there’s no ban on UK travel yet, but hopefully things don’t get worse.
Edit: and it seems even the European travel ban is being partially walked back now, so maybe I just don’t know anything about anything.
