I went back to sleep this morning pretty pissed because I never even got to see a waiting room. Same with everyone in my group.
I woke up to an email of a deposit notification. My girlfriend gave mine and her numbers to her group she went with in 2015, and they got in and got us tickets. my email only came in 45 minutes ago. I'm stunned here

As mentioned in another thread (and over on efests) Arctic Monkeys are not in play for this year so that third place is up in the air! Probably for 50th next year!
Also out according to Emily Eavis this week: Madonna, Fleetwood Mac, Zeppelin (no shit)

No Fleetwood Mac hurts a bit cause they are back on the road and I heard they'd tour next summer here.. Or maybe they're only going to do stadiums, that could also be it..

Anyone else doing other cities in Europe prior to the fest? Think we're going to spend 3-4 nights in Berlin prior to the fest.
Also, seems to be a lot of rumors that Spice Girls will get the Katy Perry spot on the Pyramid next year...
Going to London a week before and I think we'll do day trips to Liverpool, York, Bristol before Glastonbury. Few shows in and around London too. Metallica at Twickenham, Billy Joel at Wembley.

I wouldn’t assume all of those acts are out for Glasto
You think they would play in London and then Glasto less than a month later? I don't know the history of acts playing nearby and Glasto from previous years honestly. Be great to have Chem Bros there

When we went in 2016 we flew in to Amsterdam for a few days and then took the train to London. It's fairly easy to travel around Europe by train and I would encourage anyone going to take take some extra time to do some sight seeing, given that you are already going to have taken the flight over there. Don't sleep on London; there's a ton to see and most of the museums have free admission.
FYI, if you fly into London (Heathrow) and take the train to the city, the train station in London is only a few blocks away from the bus station that you will depart from to go to Glastonbury. We found it easiest to get a hotel / AirBnB in that area, as it saves you quite a bit of hassle getting to and departing from your accommodations.
