Why hasn't the Cure been announced yet. It's making me nervous.
They might not get announced till April
I'm assuming that if they announce anyone early it'd probably be McCartney instead of The Cure. Rock Werchter already announced The Cure so I could see them not wanting to drop that as their only confirmed act.
eFestivals had a couple people post some info from a industry newsletter that stated Stormzy is headlining one night, with Childish Gambino and Liam Gallagher subbing.
I always say that it's best if you have one headliner to watch each night on a different stage. I really like all the different atmospheres they have!
The APE lineup rules no-one out of Glastonbury, unless they specifically say they're a festival exclusive or whatever. In particular Hot Chip FOR SURE would not play APE if it meant turning down Glaston, they fuckin love the place, and always tear the house down there. It was a crazy experience when they headlined West Holts in 2015. They're always at the festival even when they're not playing as well. Expect Al Doyle to return to do his DJ set at the Crows Nest stage late on the Thursday night, after he missed last year while on tour with LCD. Last time, his band-mates also turned up to dance with us and to take the occasional turn behind the decks as well, the vibes were off-the-scale great. That stage rules, it's tiny, out of the way, and they only announce who's playing every morning of the festival. Hot tip.

That is.. wow. I thought people were saying he would headline a side stage, not the entire festival. Even Arctic Monkeys had a couple of albums under them before they headlined.

Stormzy's second album will be out before Glastonbury

Makes sense. I just noticed he was pretty high on the 2017 lineup and he headlined Wireless festival in the UK. MANS IS HOT.

And it should be noted that the Monkeys headlined after only two albums as well.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

Please say this means 0% chance of Post at Glasto...I'm trying to escape the shit EDM and mumble rap of the US fest scene and now it's spreading abroad.

Mate, we are going to get absolutely livid at that fuckin Camelphat set and I better see everyone at the gig lightin up some major puff when G Flip hits that stage.
Seems like Reading and Leeds always features some mainstream mediocrity. The difference with Glasto is you have like 3-5 top notch options performing at any given time.
