Leaders of The New School legitimately released music under that moniker, and performed live under that moniker. I should not be able to draft them and have access to a setlist including all of the music of ATCQ, De La Soul, Public Enemy, Busta, BDK, and KRS.
I could be wrong, but I thought LONS was Busta Rhymes group with a couple of others that got left in his dust once he went solo. They appeared on songs with Tribe and other members of the Native Tounges clique, but I don't believe they were all in one group.

The downside to getting WTT tho is that you miss out on 4:44, Yeezus, Pablo, ye and KSG songs plus whatever features. It’s not like you’re getting just modern Kanye and Jay Z.

Correct. Definitely considered that and it is a legitimate concern with the pick. They were coming off of Blueprint 3 and Dark Fantasy. For me that is the highest peak in Kanye's career and probably the most momentum Jay has had post Black album. I also wonder if including all of those new albums would necessarily be better. Especially in Jay's scenario. In a perfect world, the title track from 4:44 would replace On to the Next One, but I'd be nervous to see what other songs were sacrificed to include anything from Magna Carta or other songs from 4:44. Could be persuaded in either direction on Kanye. Probably would have been best directly post Yeezus for most of inforoo.
Another negative is that you can't expect to hear early songs that they never played while on tour. Can't expect Can I Live, Dead Presidents, Roses, Heard Em Say, ect.

Again, i just think it skews the value of acts too far towards supergroups and limited projects.
Most people wont agree with me on this, and I'm okay with that, I just figured it would be fair to let people know my stance early on, since my vote will probably be 3-4% of total voting. Waiting to reveal this after the draft is over, or well into it, would be kinda a dick move.
I don't think it should be limited to songs they had together but songs they performed together while on tour. I can't get Kids See Ghosts and expect to get Cudi songs as well (they aren't eligible since they haven't toured but it's just an example

Four more picks and then I get to go! So far, I’ve lost my top two plus one from further down my list. Really hoping I don’t lose my number three pick before it’s my turn, but I’m not holding my breath.
I kept going back and forth between Queen and Talking Heads, I have no idea how my 2nd pick will go
You were who I was most worried about taking Talking Heads. When they got past you, I was hoping they might make it to me but I see know that that was just wishful thinking.

really struggled between VU, Dead, Talking Heads, and Nirvana

It came down to the fact that I can still see David Byrne put on an amazing show and play Talking Heads songs but Freddie Mercury is dead and I’ll never be able to witness his showmanship ever again. It was really tough honestly.

If they’d have been available still, Talking Heads would have been my first pick without even having to think about it. Nirvana was my second choice (although, if I get my third option, I’ll be just as happy to get that pick as I would have been to get Nirvana, but that remains to be seen).
Talking Heads and Nirvana is a close one, I'd probably still skew Nirvana, but I was kind of wondering what the biggest show they've ever had was. They could still probably headline and close a main stage but some of these others I'm thinking of I just feel like there's no way

I mean, the discussion around TH tells me it was a worthwhile pick regardless.
I have them slated in my schedule as a headliner but that could change.
