A. Seems to make sense B. Not so much. That's more a matter of having a set focused on an album or some other novelty.
They don't play shows as The Carters though.
Yep I challenge this as well. They haven't played any shows as The Carters and they can't be considered a combo act anymore than Peter Gabriel and Sting were for me last year, even though they were touring together and came out for each others songs.
They have tons of music together and where in the rules does it even say they needed to release music together. Just says needed to perform two shows together
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round
1) Once an artist or member of an act is drafted they are unavailable to anyone else however side-projects and solo artist from that act would still be eligible until separately drafted.
Could this be clarified please? The second half of this sentence seems to nullify the first half. An example of what would be ineligible would be helpful.
That may not have been very artfully worded. Sorry.
For example, there have been several iterations of Neil Young and... (Crazy Horse, Booker T & the MG's, Promise of the Real, etc.). Once one of those has been drafted, others are off the table. But Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young are an actual group as opposed to a Neil Young solo show with a kickass house band. Likewise, if CSNY were drafted you could still take Neil Young (or Neil Young and...).
Does that make sense? I am reluctant to give too many real-world examples because I don't want to flag potential picks.
This may be the thing that gets us into most polls. It's not ideal but I don't want people splitting hairs and having eight versions of bands featuring eight slightly different iterations showing up on posters. It defeats the purpose of drafting.
The other potential sticky wicket may come from somebody choosing an act whose live CV is sparse or possibly non-existent. The burden of proof will be on the drafter there to show that they played real live shows and not, for example, a couple of songs together at a charity event. (And to further clarify, performing on a talk or variety show does not count as publicly available even though you could theoretically get tickets to that show.)

I know what I said. I'm trying to make sure that I know what you want me to do here.
Bey and Jay have a lot of music together outside of the album tho
Yeah but you wouldn't consider Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney an act and they have multiple duets.
I'm saying this in response to the idea that they're two solo acts who just happen to perform on the same tour when a large portion of the show is spent with the two of them performing together, mostly on songs that they have made together.

But their music has never been released as Beyonce & Jay Z. It has always been Beyonce feat. Jay Z or vice-versa.
So,The Carters should be ineligible as well, as they have never performed a live show.
Beyonce and Jay-Z have never released music as a unified entity, outside of a very recent entity that is not even eligible.
The only way this act shoupd be eligible is if they are included as one of the drafters 3 novelty sets.
"Right now inside the place to be with the one JAY-Z and Bey"
This is literally the first line of the album. They make no presumptions that The Carters are not Jay-Z and Beyonce and that Jay-Z and Beyonce are not the Carters.

Basically, the interation of them that had released music had never played a live show, and the iteration of them that has played live shows has never released music together.

Alright. I'll post a poll in the morning about the eligibility of Beyonce and Jay Z as an act. I'll run a follow up poll after that to determine how it should be billed.

"On my toes like a ballerina who knew I'd be black swan" does not make Kendrick Lamar Natalie Portman.
