I think it's a cool idea. HOWEVER, locales should absolutely be declared from the get-go. Either as a preliminary round or with people's first pick.
I also like it because then we all don't just pick the same location.
On that note, The Farm should be ineligible. Just to throw a wrench in there.
i'd say it should just be a part of the draft and people can take it whenever they want. The same thing with drafting comedians, none of us do it in the early rounds but id be really interested to see if something like the Coachella grounds go in round 5 or something.
The Farm should for sure be draftable. But if you make them draftable, then I think everyone should have to draft one.
Also would the locations be all time or current?
I mean, the artists are from throughout time but it probably would be a step too far to also set the festival in a different era. I guess you could, though. Personally, I'd probably just recommend going for a contemporary set of dates.
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round
I’m for the location thing and there’s no limitations, fictional or anything. Say I wanted something from a movie
that might be a little too far, we aren't drafting imaginary acts.
also if we do it we should make it a requirement to include the venue in the final poster of your lineup, but you dont have use a draft pick on it, no reason why someone cant just wait and use one of their UDFA spots for it.
Hey cdev, the last sentence of the setup part of OP needs to be updated.
Thanks. Updated.
Oh, by the way, I meant to say this couple of days ago, but forgot. Regarding the rounds, I think it would be better doing something like 25-15-8-4 instead of 25-10-5-2. Eliminating 15 people after the first round seems a bit harsher than cutting 10 IMO. This way, we can have some kind of a "Final Four" as well. Just a thought I wanted to express before we start.

I know that I got some push back in the past for not having the final round a head-to-head competition.
