Lolla keeps missing the boat on Anderson Paak and Courtney Barnett. Sub those two out for some of the trashier upper-to-mid poster stuff (Hozier, Lil Baby, etc.) and this lineup would look so much better to me.
Gambino / Strokes / Tame / Flume is a great start for me, but there is so little in the undercard id be able to genuinely get excited about.

Welp, I'm convinced. Major American festival lineups will never rise above mediocrity again. Hopefully they'll all be replaced with a plethora of niche fests in every region. That's the dream now.

i mean Gambino and Flume easily would, but yeah im prob making it out to be worse then it really is. its just another factor on top of the meh undercard that will probably keep me from pulling the trigger.

Come to Osheaga. never been to lolla but the crowd is really cool at osh.

yeah thats what im hoping to make my late summer fest. if they get Gambino + Tame i'd def send it.
I don't think it's that bad, with these types of lineups you just have to ignore the filler that's just gonna draw crowds away from the good stuff. if I lived close I could definitely fill a weekend with these acts:

No idea how their stock is rising in the US, but they just finished an arena tour across Canada that was very acclaimed. Probably destined to end up like the Tragically Hip I suppose!
