Blackillac is pretty good too. That’s GCJ’s high school buddies and their hip hop project. He produces I think but he wasn’t there the one time I saw them. Solid undercard local Austin act. Plus Black Pistol Fire rules live like a mf.

Very pleasant surprise. Not sure I'd commit to a full weekend yet (and it'd be W2 for Robyn reasons), so I might wait for daily splits, but I could totally see myself coming out for maybe two days if consecutive days are stacked enough.

I spent way too much fucking money on this fest last year, and I told myself nothing would be worth that again... but damn.
The Cure Tame Impala Robyn Kacey Raconteurs Lizzo Thom Yorke James Blake Rosalia Jenny Lewis Kaytranada Denzel Curry Tierra Whack Gogo Penguin Comet is Coming
So convince me on Weekend 1 v. Weekend 2? Wk2 I have a football conflict that would mean I can't arrive till 4pm on Sunday (or I'll just be generally annoyed all day), but I would prefer Robyn > Cardi B. Then again, I probably would skip Cardi B for another headliner altogether.
On the undercard, what are the value props for W1 vs. W2?
In Bloom Festival 3/18-3/19 Houston, Texas Rock Werchter Festival 7/5-7/8 - Werchter, Belgium Mad Cool Festival 7/12-7/14 - Madrid, Spain Austin City Limits 10/5-10/7 - Austin, Texas
Do you guys think this one will sell sooner than normal? I want to wait and see the daily breakdown before I commit to an entire weekend, but I don't want to get shut out from buying weekend tickets if I need them.
edit: or does weekend 2 even sell out?

If last year didn't sell out for a while, I can't see this year selling out sooner than that.
Besides the headliners, these are the names I'm interested:
The Raconteurs Lizzo Thom Yorke James Blake Kali Uchis Rosalía Jenny Lewis Banks Kaytranada The Kooks Natalia Lafourcade Bruce Hornsby Masego Idles GoGo Penguin Cherry Glazerr Monsieur Periné Weyes Blood The Comet Is Coming Julia Jacklin
I am really looking into this. My festie bestie already has a ticket. I have only missed 2 years since I started going in 2013 (once due to festie bestie's cancer and the other from my broken wrist), I have a place to stay already... Do I wait or say fuck it and buy (it would be weekend 1)?

This is surprisingly good. A little top heavy, but still some good stuff in the fine print. Might try to make this work. Certainly seems more unique than most US festivals this year.
