So I'm having a bit of a crappy Monday. I booked my flight to Nashville weeks ago (flying from Calgary) on Expedia, and the airline was supposed to be Frontier. We were to arrive in Nashville at 2 PM local time and I figured we could probably be at Roo by 5 PM at the latest on the Thursday.
Since we're going VIP I wasn't too worried about getting there early on Thursday to secure a good spot but I didnt want to get to Roo much later than 5 as I'm assuming that's when most of the acts will be starting up. Btw, what time does the music traditionally start on Thursdays?
Today I find out that Frontier is discontinuing their services out of Calgary starting in March and my flight has been cancelled. Expedia and Frontier have both assured me that I will be booked on an alternate flight at no extra cost. The other option is they can refund my ticket and I can book a one-way on my own.
My problem is if they book me on a later flight on Thursday I might not get in until late at night and I'm not sure how late the shuttle runs. I can also book a one-way to fly in on Wednesday but then how would I get to Roo from the airport and will the VIP area even be open on Wednesday night?
The only positive to all of this is that my dad is moving to Paris, TN this summer and he volunteered to drive me to and from the airport if he's down there by then, but he's not sure exactly when he's moving there (could be after Roo).

As long as your flight gets in by 9:30 pm on Thursday, you can get on a shuttle.
There is no shuttle service on Wednesday and VIP doesn't open until Thursday mornning.
The shuttle is DEFINITELY the way to go from the airport as tehy have direct access to the site. Otherwise you'll be sitting in traffic for hours.
