I think it is a combination of 2 things.

1. The last two years were following the worst lineup in the fest's history at the time. 2018 was a turn in the right direction. Plus the AC booking rumors leave even more room for optimism.

2. The upgrades to the grounds that have been made since 2013 have finally reached a point where the Bonnaroo experience (outside of the lineups) is much more enjoyable than it was before. I think everyone who went this year noticed that. If anyone who last went in 12 or 13 went in 19, they would be blown away by the difference.

Had to miss last year due to eldercare issues. That matter has *ahem* resolved itself, so I hope to be back as a prefest volunteer like in 2016 and 2017. Also rewarded myself for (almost) reaching the milestone age of 65 by getting an RV spot in the KOA. AC!! Yeah!
