Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
My first year was 2006 and I can literally say it changed my life. It lit a fire inside me for festivals that has enriched my life 10 fold. I went to several over the next few years, including Roo in 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2012. I returned to the farm in 2017 and 2018 and looking forward to 2019.
A lot of things have changed over that time and I see a ton of people on here bemoaning this (sometimes including myself.) Yes, the vibe is different and the late nights are not quite what they were. Yes, the sets are shorter. Yes the attendees are of a little different ilk and yes, the booking strategy has evolved. But all of these things have helped this fest stay relevant and able to survive and thrive in the marketplace. And I think they have done a good job of keeping the core of the brand in mind along the way (unlike other fests like Hangout...which is now totally different now.)
I wish some sets were longer, and the tents would go past 3am, and more guitar/bass/drums rock act were booked, I miss the Cinema and Comedy tents...but many of the changes have been positive. Easier entry to site, more organized parking and campground layout, shorter and better security entering Centeroo, better sound on Which (but still could be better), brick and mortar restrooms, walking bridge over that swamp between What and Which, the Plazas over the past few years (with more to come).
All of this to say, I enjoyed Roo each time I have been there and have never regretted going. Go in with a good attitude and an open, carefree mind and Roo will never disappoint.

i'll be there. no ticket yet but i'm pumped.
2003-2004 2012-2016
so this will be my 8th roo if i'm counting right. excited to see the changes to The Other and the new placement of kalliope. will be sad when i see the comedy tent is gone, i spent a lot of time there 2012-2016.
2012 was my first festival ever, nothing short of life changing. also did RV the first two times so that was pretty sweet
Yep, I've gone RV since 2017. I got too old to handle 4 days of intense heat with little to no sleep in a tent that is baking in the sun by 8am. RV with A/C with the blinds drawn is where its at. We bring multiple grills, corn hole, beer pong tables, TV with Dish and a kick ass soundbar,...we even have a swimming pool with a filter. Our group is all in our 50's now so we need those extra comforts.

Nice....but where do you get all that water??
Water trucks come and fill the RVs so we pay them to fill our pool too.
Created an account to mention this: has anyone noticed all the extra artists listed on the Bonnaroo app now? Didn’t see an announcement but assume these are some of the club level acts

I don't see it.
Turn off the option for by day on the lineup. It's on the app and website.

This was an extremely valuable first post by the way.

Backed out of doing a regional burn to go to Roo and hopefully see lots of friends there. I haven't purchased a ticket yet, but I'm planning on returning!
And like I said in there I don’t have the time to try and organize somethin’ m’self. Plus you’re tagged, so it’s not like you don’t know all this already, oh wise one.
