ween makes sense because i love ween, but also because i listened to them a lot looking for playlist submissions for the inforoo playlist thread.
R.E.M. and U2 are because I started listening to RUTREMREME and UTU22ME this year, so I made my way through both bands entire catalogs.
Phish and NIN because they are two of my favorite bands. also probably skimmed through their stuff a lot for the playlist thread.
nice for what because it's the best song of the year.
yung internet, freak out, stop it are all dirtybird tracks i listened to frequently in the car.
africa because it's just a great song.

unfortunately this isn't wholly indicative of my listening habits since i use google play music and youtube music as well. and the majority of my listening is podcasts of live sets or studio mixes from various "underground" electronic artists via pocketcasts, soundcloud, mixcloud, or youtube, so none of that will track anywhere.
but i do think the spotify unwrapped gives fair insight into the pop music i was listening to this year.
My top playlist is so fucked up lol. It has Like A Virgin by Madonna as my number four song and I'm 99% sure I didn't listen to her at all this year lol. My list also has jerry garcia, the disco biscuits, umphrey's mcgee, papadosio, and perpetual groove and I definitely don't listen to any of them. I think they got my list mixed up with some wook
going to do this later when i'm at my computer, but i'm certain it's going to say all i've listened to is ariana grande, troye sivan and shawn mendes...
Shocked about no Moon River, but Slide/RAF being played more makes sense to me. Jack idk I listened a lot before Shaky Knees, but that one's surprising to me, XO Tour is another one I don't really get, it's on the heartbreak playlist I curated for this board though, and I've listened to the playlist a couple of times. My favorite genre was 'Modern Rock' and I felt shamed by 'ONLY 3+ million other people like MODERN ROCK'.
Also got the 'oldest song' thing which was definitely not right. It gave me Dean Martin ('54) even though I listened to/added to playlists Mildred Bailey, who died in '51.
