03/14 - Thievery Corporation 04/25 - Black Country, New Road 05/04 - In Flames, Gatecreeper 05/10 - Modern Life is War 05/21 - Spite, Bodysnatcher, Thrown 05/29 - Knocked Loose, Loathe, Show me the Body, Speed 06/02 - Bush 06/22 - George Thorogood 06/23 - Dillinger Escape Plan, Deadguy, Candy, Carbomb
Korn is lame af, but this lineup is otherwise pretty stacked for a rock festival. It still has the terrible metalcore element to it, but this is really the best of both Welcome to Rockville and Sonic Temple combined. Plus 90's guilty pleasures unique to Epicenter like Bush and Live.
Edit - If this fest had Gojira then it would truly be the best of WtR and ST. I guess Mastodon makes up for their absence. Knocked Loose and Vein are also nice gets.

So after 5 of the biggest fests in the U.S. announced their lineups (Coachella, Shaky Knees, Hangout, Firefly, and Governor's Ball.. and presumably Boston Calling which is supposedly awful) this is the best American festival lineup I've seen.. and somehow this thread only has 5 comments. I feel like that old Native American man in the commercials they used to air where a single teardrop rolls down his face after seeing the trash of modern society.

Just a heads up for anyone that lives close to the area, they are selling tickets to this fest for $1 now. Weekend passes are gone at this point but single days still available for $1. Not really much music here for me but if I lived closer I’d be there for that price.
Super shitty of them to screw the people that bought full price tickets early though.

Went ahead and bought the tix for this since they were only $1. Even balled out and got the ticket security for an extra $0.55. I'm guessing the attendance on this thing is gonna be low?

I never understand this logic. People saw this and thought that whatever the price was, was good value for them. Now more people will be able to get tickets for what they see as good value for them (above $1 and the time spent there). Everyone wins, no one is getting screwed.

As someone that bought regular price single day tickets. I feel screwed. I will definitely wait for the deals next year.

If you sell $1 tickets this year, I don’t think next year is happening. Why would anyone buy tickets at the initial price now?

If they book a better lineup. For most every festival tickets get cheaper than the original price in the days before the festival. Obviously not $1, but I got a ticket to the Saturday of ACL for $40 last year, isnt stopping anyone from buying tickets for this years ACL fest early.

So from what I can tell, there are no water stations inside the fest at all, and you are not allowed to bring in a camelbak. Kind of shitty to do in the south in May. You can bring in one sealed water bottle. Also, it says no re-entry once you're in for the day which is really lame. But hard to complain for $1. Wasn't familiar withmuch of the music Friday or Saturday, so I bolded what I know I like, but so far I have:
Fri:: Zeal & Ardor > Slothrust > Knocked Loose > Black Pistol Fire > Crystal Method/Meshuggah > Mark Langegan > end of Evanescence I guess > (this is the time i wish I could go back to camp and drink) > Korn (if drunk enough) Sat: Shvpes > Sylar/Dirty Honey > Badflower > Wage War > Black Label Society > Grandson > Bush :/ > Circa Survive > Judas Priest > Tool Sun: Demob Happy > Boston Manor > Cleopatrick > Yungblud > Movements > Fever 333 > Basement > Mastodon > 311 > Foo Fighters

They posted on instagram yesterday saying there would be water stations inside the campground and the festival site itself, and you will be able to go in and out as you please. So that's good news. Drunk Korn it is.

I am in an Epicenter Facebook group and 90% of the posts are either people still waiting in not moving traffic or saying it was the worst concert experience of their lives. This looks pretty bad.
Buddy if you made it inside I really feel bad fer you. Hopefully you make it out okay.
I saw a photo of the crowd at Rob Zombie last night (the only night I wanted to go) and it looked packed! But yeah hearin’ ‘bout the traffic nightmare made me feel better ‘bout not goin’.
I know Tool was prolly the biggest draw of the weekend, and especially as they are playin’ new material there’s gonna be a lot of pissed off people. Local news had interviews with people from FL and somewhere in the Northeast and they were not happy. From what’s out there right now this sounds like an absolute shit-show that won’t get a chance to correct any problems.
Also I’ve read rumors on The Facebook that a stage (possibly the main) has suffered serious damage or collapsed. I know one of the people in Tool posted a video where their video walls was swingin’ pretty seriously.
