Other than continually mentioning that he's on vacation, there's not a whole lot of substance to Thor's posts. I don't see why he would have been whacked other than to get rid of an experienced player.

After rereading the the last few pages and Thor's comments his interaction with Maddog stuck out to me the most. Thor got picked off for a reason and that's my bet.

Law School. We lost the guy in law school. Fudgicles. They either picked him because they feared he was inspector, or they fear his lawyerish instincts were kicking in, or they wanted to utilize what was available (aforementioned facts, visible inferences) as a diversion. It is either a really dumb mafia move or a really clever one disguised as a dumb one. I suppose it could be interpreted as an obvious move, as he actually did do some poking and prodding, though I'd still consider that dumb as any one of us could use the "Nothing to see over here gang" lines that everyone picks up on as inspector talk - it is obvious.
Writing out thoughts as they come, can't tell if the stream is gold or just yellow.

I have to do a re-read when I get home, but from what I remember most of Thor's posts involved him being on vacation. I'm not sure if this was hunting the inspector, perhaps more of doing him a favor or just trying to get rid of a good veteran player.

As someone who has played in, I think, multiple games where has been killed off for simply falling out of touch and failing to cast a vote, I’d think you guys would want to know I’m not MIA while on vacation. That is especially so considering how quiet R1R1 was.

I suppose I look for any and all moments of hand tipping, and the repetition in his response to Carini indicates to me at least some form of hand waving in addition to written statements. I say this based on subjective reasoning: Past games, my own approach as inspector, my own approach as mafia. I agree also that objectively speaking, all he could be trying to do is get Carini off his back.

was the vote that originally threw Thor back into the runoff iirc. Plus the reasoning was sort of strange and Thor defended himself after with pretty sound reasoning(saying he was just trying to show he was still active whilst on vacation). He also explicitly said the barking up the wrong tree thing if that really is a clue that he was inspector. The other two votes on Thor were Pablo and Maddog. So I feel like one of those is probably mafia and wanted to get rid of him since they couldn't get rid of him in the runoff. That leaves pablo and Maddog. Pablo switched to Thor after I switched away from Thor in favor of Dan. That could also cast some suspicion I guess. Carini voting for Maddog either means that carini is mafia with Pablo (them working together would mean they would know Maddog is town, so an easy vote) or that carini thinks Maddog is mafia. Anyway, I think Pablo and carini switching to Thor after I changed my vote from Thor is strange. Also, Pablo switched his vote from carini to Thor funnily enough. So that shows even more possibility of them working together

I don’t read too much into how players lost their Revotes. Most people don’t include the original name. Personally, I only include it if I’m switching my vote in the same round.
I can see how you see it that way. At the time, I think your vote to push Danbob up to 4 before the deadline (essentially attempting to skip a round) probably caused those reactionary vote changes as most here tend to not want to skip rounds (myself included even though I do what you did frequently).
One option is that it was just townies trying to switch up votes to counteract your round skip and bring it back to 3 in the runoff. Another option that you are eluding to is that Mafia took use of your switch to shuffle things around to benefit them.
Personally, I didn’t see much difference in having Carini or Thor in the runoff with me and Danbob because I felt like it was going to be me and Danbob ultimately so that 3rd person would have gotten dropped anyway.
