The WhatPodcast tweeted they had the lineup in hand, I’m just speculating that if they have it then they aren’t the only ones.
Interesting.
as an early bday present from my favorite online inforooer, do you know if Tipper is on the lineup, so I can rub it in my friends face who follows him on tour and doubts he’s gonna be there.

We used to know a lot more by now. I don't know if they've gotten better at this (they Were pretty inept at times) or we just don't care as much anymore. (Nobody's emailing venues or agents, pretending to pregnant, "hacking" websites, etc.)
Or maybe they're going all Michael Lang and are just starting to make plans...

3 nights (starting tonight) for the first 3 shows of the year. I’ll always see Tipper if I get the chance. Hopefully they can pull some freaky later shit with him into Disco Biscuits one night. Regardless of who is the main DJ, I hope it’s not pop shit unless maybe Skrillex was gonna play.

but if paper copies are out there our mission to is get the lineup before Tuesday.

May be a little late to the party here, but this is why Bonnaroo is my favorite festival I've been too.
1.) The "vibes" are real, but they are not a mystical force and can be explained pretty easily: Almost everyone is camped in a confined area for an extended period of time, and that forces a sense of community that is nearly impossible to replicate at a city festival, or anywhere else in the real world. With the advent of texting and social media, I don't think people are used to being in this type of in-person communal atmosphere, so it is refreshing to be catapulted into it once a year at Bonnaroo. I do think that us having perfect cell phone reception the past few years may have impeded on this a little bit, because it's so easy for people to stare at their phones, but it's hard to complain because it's so much easier to meet up with friends now.
2.) People may disagree with this, but I think the worse the conditions get, the better it is for the "vibes" (obviously to an extent). It's funny complaining about mountains of dust in your nostrils with random people that you've never met before. It's something that everyone can relate to, kind of like a "we're all in this together" type of situation. Laughing with random people ends up outweighing the crappy conditions, and it puts me in a better mood for the rest of the day. This is part of the reason I won't be considering VIP for a while. That, and the fact that I'm poor.
3.) The late nights really do matter. Not only because the party keeps going, but it's annoying having to wait in line to leave every single night. And then once you've left, you're back in the real world again, reminded of what it's like to be away from that communal atmosphere that was mentioned above. Hard to stay in the festival zone that way. I also like that I don't have to pay for a single Uber. Once again, I am poor.
Pumped as shizz for Tuesday. Hoping it's either like '19 or maybe even a little better.
