In 25 years of attending shows quite regularly, Smashing Pumpkins are, without a doubt, the worst live act I have ever seen. And I actually enjoy most of their music.

Like 5 years ago I wanted the smashing pumpkins to come back soo bad and then they did. I’ve seen them twice since and I think that enough. It was alright, didn’t meet my expectations. I do remember that they covered Stairway to Heaven as Billy went up actual stairs and it was the longest song I remember seeing at a concert. I mean I know I’ve seen jam bands do longer songs, but that doings just seemed to drag the fuck out. Gonna be a pass for me at roo if they are there.
Do you guys really not like Thirty Three, Luna, Tonight Tonight or Disarm? Or like any main popular hit they had? Their live videos of their 2019 tour have looked amazing and it’s been well received. Billy is an amazing guitarist and Jimmy’s a great drummer. They really suck live? Anyone see them in 2019?

I’ve only seen them once which was the co-headlining tour with Marilyn Manson (16? 17?). It wasn’t special but it still kicked a little bit of ass.
Does it matter that King Gizz is going to be doing a festival in France the weekend before Roo? After their tour ends at Red Rocks they have nothing until the French festival on 6th and 7th of June.
