Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Anyone who attempted to see Innanet James whichever year that was (2017?) know how atrocious that was. My friends and I still joke about that one lol.
I watched some of his videos before going to Roo in 2017 and thought it was a joke. Legit wondering, did you like him before going and the show was disappointing or go the show not knowing what to expect?
All I knew of him was that I liked some of the songs I heard on my Bonnaroo playlist, and my friends were in the same boat so we went to check him out. He was booked for an hour, came out like 15 minutes late, overused this awful shattering glass sound effect legitimately like every 15 seconds, did a couple songs poorly, crowd surfed, then ended the set like a half hour early. It was a total mess lol.
This is the answer. Not a bad set as a whole but single handed Oy the worst song I’ve seen at Bonnaroo. Worst set have to be walking past Hobo Johnson
I remember just staring blankly, in awe of the atrocity taking place in front of my eyes, and at the time partly blamed it on being ~a bit high~. However, after talking to other folks the next day, I realized it really was as bad as it seemed.
Lol I had the same experience. It was such a low caliber mailed in bullshit performance it didn’t even make sense. I was straight up embarrassed for him. Didn’t seem to bother him though
billy joel was the only one that I wanted to be good but was actively not enjoying. we were planning to just hang out in the What field, enjoy the music, and leave monday morning but we ended up leaving early and driving back to nashville.
lil wayne in 2011 was atrocious. I was only passing through to check it out on my way from black angels to pretty lights. but woof.
edit: oh yeah. the police. that was the most disapppointing show I have ever seen in my life. I was a huge police fan growing up, and seeing the excitement and energy of stewart copeland with oysterhead the year before, I couldn't believe how totally uninspired, unenergetic, and just completely blah that show was.

I was trapped on the Ferris Wheel and couldn't escape the torture
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
Special shoutout to Unchained in 2012, not because of them persay, but because of the timeslot they got. I think people would literally riot if they booked a Van Halen coverband for late night in 2020
Not the worst, but I was disappointed with Tears for Fears tbh. We were looking forward to it since the announcement but it didn't live up to it

Jesus, were we on the same path in 2011???
I left BA early to see some of Lil W and get a spot for PL, and I LIKE Lil Wayne. He was not good that night. Felt VERY cliche.

Not necessarily bad, because I'm sure she's very talented at whatever she's trying to do, but walking by Tanya Tagaq and thinking there was an orgy going on was a pretty strange moment in my Bonnaroo history.

I was in the tent for it and it was great, my friends were out the tent and hated it.

LOL yes, that was definitely interesting to walk past.
There's usually enough shit going on that you don't have to see anything suck if you don't want to. So for every wimp pop act like AJR, Fun or Bleachers or whatever that I don't like, I generally don't have to go to that. Last year I saw almost nothing that sucked. I did have to listen to a bit of Hobo Johnson from camp which bit the big one and made me decide to go back in to find something that could drown that out. Whoever was the early band on Thursday where the singer was hissing and talking snake. I thought I was at Donna Missal which I think that's the card that was up on the stage, but it wasn't her. That was bad. Juice WLRD was pretty boring as well last year almost until the end. Also, whoever the late night house dj _____hart was I didn't like at all.
2015 I didn't like Atmosphere. I thought it was awkward and dooshy though I liked the DJ/DJ's.
2012 - The 3 songs of the Beach Boys I got dragged to sucked. The people that made me go with them were hating within minutes, so it was fitting. Also, musically The Flavor Savers wasn't anything notable. But tears of laughter streamed down my face for about half the show. I wouldn't say anyone who missed it lost out on a musical treat or anything, but it was definitely high comedy.
