I don't feel this is fair to call me a liar. I gave you guys some correct info to speculate on for months, and I speculated myself and was wrong, as we all were.
I got the official lineup the night before and I confirmed the reddit leak was correct here. Rihanna was such an obvious joke and I don't like being called a liar just for helping that thread reach 500+ pages
The one that tickled me was this: (im just posting the quotes here)
"Checked in to say hi before I get banned
It is a pretty great lineup. I promise y’all will like it."
Only to be followed up less than 30 minutes later with:
"This shit is ass what the fuck"
That's the long and short of it right there to me.
I remember givin’ Wilco a good try back ‘round 2011-13 maybs? I remember enjoyin’ them but nothin’ ever made me need to listen to more. I’d catch their set (like I think I did at their last appearance). Decent music, decently fun. But if there’s a conflict they would prolly lose.
Edit: Honestly if Bonnaroo was ONLY Beyonce, Neil Young, and Tool, each playing on separate days, I'd probably still go. It'd be a good weekend.
Other than Neil, these HLs would be an easy pass. With a decent undercard I’d check Beyoncē (is that correct?) too, but any regular here knows I’d pay more money to not see Tool.
And yeah, you book those three as your HLers you won’t have much money to spend on the undercard to make it worthwhile.
